Even though there is still some time before October 25, the official release day of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, many steps are being prepared. Activision has a whole communication to manage. After unveiling the new Zombies mode and scheduling the multiplayer trial through early access and an open beta, the publisher presents the Campaign mode of this new installment.
A mission, infiltration, adrenaline
Rather than settling for a simple one to two-minute trailer, Activision went big by releasing a video over six minutes long. This allows you to appreciate part of the content of the mission “Priority Target,” while viewing gameplay. Head to the Capitol station in Washington D.C., or rather the CIA black site hidden beneath it, for a covert infiltration mission. The objective is simple, locate and free agent Russell Adler, well known to fans of the franchise. Of course, Case, the character players will embody, will not be left to fend for himself. He can count on his Black Ops team members, including Troy Marshall, Felix Neumann, and Sevati Dumas. Needless to say, the plan will not go off without a hitch. Guaranteed adrenaline rush!
The video also highlights the choice system that will be implemented. Thus, to approach Senator McKenna (with the idea of obtaining a photo of his retina to pass a security check), you will have the option to choose from three different approaches. Your dear Quill will keep his tongue on those to not spoil the pleasure of surprise. Just know that the campaign developed by Raven Software, in partnership with Treyarch, will rely on this choice system to vary approaches and situations, which already promises good replayability.
As a bonus, a dose of Zombies
Even if you have already been able to discover some specifics of the new Zombies mode, the developers invite us to watch a Gameplay Intel Drop in which they appear in front of the camera to tell us a little more about the gameplay. An opportunity to discover some enhancements that will influence our characters' abilities. It was the little bonus served by the Metropolis Chronicle. We will meet you at the very end of the month to talk about omnidirectional movements, Multiplayer maps, the second Zombies mode map, and more!
