The next Call of Duty will be Black Ops 6

Call of Duty Black OPS 6
Call of DutyMay 24, 20242 min read

Some hints had already been dropped during the announcement of the Xbox Games Showcase, which will take place on June 9 starting at 7 PM (French time). At that time, the Redmond company announced that the event would be followed by a rather special Direct dedicated to a particular game. Of course, the name wasn't revealed, but the image suggested that it might be the next Call of Duty...

Bingo, it will even be a new Black Ops

No need to prolong the suspense, Activision did not wait for June 9 to release the information: the next installment of the Call of Duty series will be Call of Duty Black Ops 6. The publisher is not going to waste all its ammunition for now. So don't expect to see gameplay in the video below. This one, about forty seconds long, is simply intended to raise the level of anticipation by providing a semblance of context and a few elements to decipher.

A slogan, “The truth lies,” and a logo, these are the main elements to be satisfied with for now. However, we can point out that it is the Treyarch studio that is in charge of the project, which is not surprising since it has handled all the other Black Ops, and that the title has been in development for four years, making it the Call of Duty with the longest development process. At the Metropolis Chronicle, we are used to dealing with information about the series and we are more than eager to discover everything behind this new project. Count on your dear Quill to tell you more very soon!
