The month of September is coming to an end, which means we are about to start October 2024. It is on the 25th of the latter that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be officially released. We must admit, the various media presented certainly make you want to take the day off to enjoy it. Activision knows this and once again plays on it as part of the game's promotional campaign.
Forget reality, the Replacer is back
The Replacer (The Replacer in its original version) is a mythical character associated with the lore of the Black Ops franchise. He appeared as part of the promotion for Call of Duty: Black Ops II, before making his return in Black Ops III. Of course, Peter Stormare, the charismatic Swedish actor who lends his features to the character, was not done with him. For Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Treyarch goes further and integrates the character into the Blackout mode, giving him digital life and allowing everyone to control him. Then he was set aside for CoD BO Cold War.
Good news, as you can see in the humorous promotional video below, the Replacer is back! You can slip away from a family meal or even your work, he is there to replace you and thus give you a few hours (or days) of freedom to fully enjoy Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from October 25th.
Father, firefighter, carpooler, kebab seller, or even Pope, he is there, he is capable of taking on all the roles that come his way. Good news, if you like the actor and humor, Activision should release more videos of this kind in the coming days, about thirty are planned. So rest assured, he has your back, you can play CoD Black Ops 6 peacefully from its release. Let's also remind that the title will be added Day One to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
