Call of DutyOct 8, 20242 min read

Last weekend was marked by the 2024 Call of Duty Mobile World Championship. The top 16 teams in the world competed, and it was Elevate who emerged victorious. However, beyond the thrills and spectacle, the event held a surprise... namely the announcement of a new Battle Royale map coming soon.

Krai will intensify the battles

If you play Call of Duty Mobile, you surely know that a new season is deployed every month. Currently, everyone can enjoy the Season 9 Orbital Raiders. However, Activision wanted to give a preview of Season 10, which will arrive at the beginning of November. This one will be very special as it will mark the game's fifth anniversary. Needless to say, you can expect some surprises.

Among these, the publisher plans to deploy a brand new map for the Battle Royale mode. Krai, as it is called, is revealed in the video of about forty seconds below. It's an opportunity to appreciate some points of interest on this new map. New locations will be alongside others that are iconic for the franchise. To encourage battles to be even more intense, this new map will remain relatively compact and dense. It will condense points of interest to offer a kind of urban jungle varying the sizes of buildings and other structures.

Vigilance will therefore be required to gather your gear. Enemies could come from anywhere. As usual, it will be essential to thoroughly explore the locations to discover the best spots. Of course, the company has only given a preview of what awaits players who will dive into Season 10. Finally, we should have more details towards the end of the month, at the very start of the next at the latest.
