Call of Duty: Mobile starts the new year with an icy season

More than six years after its launch, Call of Duty: Mobile continues to gather a certain community. This is mainly due to the work of TiMi Studios, which strives to regularly inject new content. As proof, Activision announces the arrival of Season 1 - Frozen Abyss on January 15. New Battle Pass, arrival of the operator Lazarus - Cosmic Wrath, collaboration with the Street Fighter license and more, let's take stock. 

A freezing cold to warm hearts 

Put on your coats and jackets, wear your hat or put your hood on your head, a freezing cold is about to hit the mobile version of Call of Duty. Starting January 15, you can shoot in all directions, as the passage of bullets through your weapon's barrel will warm the atmosphere. Indeed, Season 1 of this new year will add a touch of cold. Named Frozen Abyss, it comes with several new features. This starts with the addition of a new Battle Pass featuring free and premium levels. In the first case, you can, among other things, obtain the new LC10, a versatile submachine gun. Ideal for beginners and those who are action addicts, it will combine a high rate of fire with low recoil. Additionally, you can unlock winter-themed skins and an Inflatable Decoy, which, as its name suggests, will deploy a decoy balloon.

In the second case, you can obtain operator skins, including American Bulldog - Polar Explorer and Portnova - Arctic Adventurer. Of course, as always, weapon blueprints will also be available to unlock, including one associated with the new weapon. To push you to excel, the development team will renew the challenges to be completed with the integration of a new Challenge Pass. An opportunity to earn some tokens to spend later in the exchange shop. 

A cosmic wrath and events

Speaking of the shop, know that it will have its little seasonal refresh. It is also worth noting that a new operator skin that stands out will be added in a new mythical draw. Its code name: Lazarus - Cosmic Wrath. Of course, this will be of mythical rarity. After all, not everyone should have the chance to possess a demonic soldier who resurrects. The appearance is quite dark, the hair has a certain style, and he is missing part of his torso, but all this gives him a most charming mystical aspect. Other draws will be available to obtain other skins and weapon blueprints.

Finally, three events will spice up the games. The first will be the new collaboration with the Street Fighter license. Players will once again find elements from Capcom's license, such as the M4 - Vulcan Blast weapon blueprint, charm - Charming Guile, or the melee weapon blueprint Prizefighters - Ryu's Gloves. The second will highlight winter with the possibility of obtaining the AS Val - Ski Slope weapon blueprint and the operator skin Otter - Slope Drifter. 

The third and final one will serve players who missed rewards from previous secret caches. Just in case you missed it, we would like to remind you that the universe of the license will expand in the future because Paramount is currently working on a film adaptation. This will serve as a new entry point for newcomers, which could lead people to join the community by becoming interested in video games.
