New month, new season for Call of Duty: Mobile. This time, the pocket experience is themed around paranoia. Abandon any idea of relying on your logic, you will discover cosmic horrors starting March 19. But that's not all, as this Season 3, which will follow the Lunar New Year, will introduce quick matches in DMZ: Recon mode and highlight two special collaborations.
Faster matches in DMZ: Recon
The development team has decided to shake up DMZ: Recon matches by introducing a new Quick Play mode. As the name suggests, it aims to reduce the gameplay time needed to complete a session. How? It's very simple: by reducing the size of the map. So, starting March 19, if you opt for this particular mode, you will discover a condensed version of Serpent Island. Regarding points of interest, you can move to the following: Kurohana Base, Kurohana Ship, Port, Observatory, and Residential. Four squads will be dropped simultaneously on the map. To spice things up, the extraction button, initially located inside the ship, has been moved outside. The expected result? Tense matches that promise intense confrontations.
Events to constantly renew interest
The joy of playing and the rewards to unlock are good incentives to encourage players to start a game over and over again. However, to continue retaining players while trying to attract new ones, events are a good way to break the routine. In the context of this Season 3, several events are scheduled.
It will start on March 18 with a collaboration under the sign of Pop Team Epic, the Seinen by bkub Okawa. Humor is the key element of this work which addresses the misadventures of Popuko and Pipimi, two 14-year-old teenagers who find themselves in absurd situations. Those interested can discover the four-panel webcomic or the animated series while waiting to dive into the event. Once the event is deployed, players will need to chain matches to earn puzzle pieces. These must be assembled to complete a puzzle challenge and thus unlock a panel of the manga. Then, players will continue the assault until unlocking all four panels to obtain several rewards, including a Pop Team Epic weapon blueprint.

The third event The main focus of this Season 3 is dedicated to a collaboration with NieR: Automata. So, if you missed the previous event dedicated to the PlatinumGames title, you will have the opportunity to catch up and have a chance to obtain the Kui Ji - YoRHa No. 9 Type S operator skin and four melee weapons, in addition to the EMR 2 - Atonement of the Ancients weapon blueprint and more.

A Pass for science fiction fans
It's tradition, when a new season arrives, a new Battle Pass is deployed, always with two paths, free and premium. The free path allows you to unlock camouflages, weapon blueprints, and other bonuses. However, there are two main rewards. The first is a 12-gauge automatic shotgun named MX Guardian. The second is the Battle Royale Tactical Mirror class. This is not negligible for fans of team play as it allows deploying a tactical mirror to duplicate high-level loot and ammunition for all squad members.
The Premium path, on the other hand, will allow you to retrieve all the content from Paranoia. This will include several weapon blueprints, as well as the operator skins Jackal - The Teeth, Keegan - The Eyes, Polina - Battle Prepped, and Misty - Campfire Camo.
