The series The Boys has just ended after a Season 5 concluding several story arcs. But the characters are not ready to be forgotten. Besides those who will be present in the already announced spin-offs, three of them are about to land in Call of Duty: Mobile as part of Season 5: Revenge. Activision continues to strike hard with collaborations, this one coming after the showcase of two cinema legends, namely Kong and Godzilla, introduced in the Eternal Prison Season.

The Supers to the rescue

On May 28, Call of Duty: Mobile players will be able to find Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir as part of an exceptional collaboration. For the occasion, two new game modes will be offered. The first, All Supe'd Up, is a multiplayer mode that allows players to embody one of the three supers in a variant of the Infected mode. The subtlety is that the last survivor will be able to use their superpower depending on the character embodied. Thus, Starlight will be able to trigger a shock wave, Black Noir will use a katana and gain speed after each elimination, while Homelander will use his eyes to shoot lasers, all while levitating. Of course, to prevent any abuse of power, an overheating gauge will limit the action.

The second, Vought Royale, will be intended for those who thrive in Battle Royale mode. This time, players will be able to obtain doses of Temp V, which will be scattered on the Isolated map. If you know a little about the series, you know that it's the substance that gives powers to the supers. Logically, in the game, when you take a dose, you will randomly obtain a superpower. You might find yourself with laser vision, have the opportunity to teleport, gain the ability to perform a charged jump, or even generate an electric shock wave.

As a bonus, Activision will add the Armored Royale mode, which will modify the rules related to respawns. Indeed, this will integrate armored combat vehicles. Each squad will have its own. Besides the protection it can offer, it will mainly become a mobile respawn point. Thus, you will respawn near your squad to defend teammates to prevent your unit from being put down. The last squad still alive will win the match.

Choose your side, complete the quests

To echo the series, the development studio will ask players to choose their side. Will you be on the side of Butcher, Stella, and the other characters of The Boys team, or will you succumb to the call of power by joining the Seven (the Dawn of the Seven camp)? In any case, this will allow you to earn some rewards, including the operator skin "Manta Ray - Maritime". Team spirit is important to tip a match, but sometimes, the fight is more personal. As a result, the development team has decided to bring back the Peak Duel event. As the name suggests, it aims to pit two people against each other in a duel. Of course, some adjustments will be made to conform to the universe of The Boys.

As always, a new Battle Pass will be part of the launch of this new season. With the free path, everyone will be able to acquire a new bullpup-style assault rifle, namely the aptly named BAL-27. With the Premium path, there will be new operator skins to unlock, including Bulldog - The Responder and Klepto - The Dissenter. Finally, the studio promises to integrate three draws on the theme of The Boys, one per super integrated. As a bonus, a legendary weapon blueprint will allow the use of a weapon that reacts to the number of enemies taken down.
