On the road to Worlds 2026: Karmine Corp qualifies with ease

2026 is the year of Karmine Corp. For the first time in its history, the French esports organization achieves a feat by qualifying for the Worlds 2026 of League of Legends. They secured their ticket by defeating GiantX 3-1 in the first round of the Summer Split playoffs. This confirms the team's good form, having remained undefeated during the regular season. The club also managed to qualify for the VALORANT Champions 2026 and for the RLCS World Championship 2026 (on Rocket League). 

The dream of all LoL teams

For all the esports organizations competing in League of Legends, the Worlds represent the ultimate dream. The World Championship allows the best teams from around the world to compete in a tournament with one sole objective: to lift the iconic Summoner's Cup. Naturally, this competition, which only gathers the cream of the crop, has highly coveted spots. These are earned by qualifying within one's local league. This year, for the first time in its history, Karmine Corp has succeeded... They secured their ticket for the Worlds 2026, which will take place in the United States from October 15 to November 14, 2026. 

For about a month, 19 teams from all over the world will face each other in a championship that will unfold in three major stages. The first will be the Play-In phase. It will be a preliminary phase that will bring the teams together in Los Angeles, at the Riot Games Arena. Then, the second will be the Swiss Stage, which will take place in Allen, Texas. Finally, the competition will conclude with the Grand Finale at the Barclays Center in New York. 

A perfect season continues beautifully

Founded in 2020, Karmine Corp is still a young organization. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped them from shining on several occasions, like during the LEC Winter Split 2025 won 3-0 against G2 Esports. The team competing in League of Legends has once again shone during the LEC Summer Split 2026. Indeed, Canna, Yike, kyeahoo, Busio, and the Frenchman Caliste defeated each of their opponents to achieve a historic score of 9 victories, without any losses. The team notably defeated Team Vitality, Movistar KOI, Team Heretics, Natus Vincere, and Fnatic 2-0 each time. Only the German team G2 Esports was a bit more challenging, forcing KC to concede one game.

After this brilliantly navigated regular season, KC had only one obstacle left to obtain their ticket for the Worlds 2026. That was the team GIANTX. Unsurprisingly, Karmine Corp confirmed their great form by winning this Saturday, September 5, 3-1. Although the second game had to be conceded after a first game won with ease, the French team quickly regained their composure to impose their play in the next two games. Needless to say, kyeahoo and Caliste were decisive.

Even though KC experienced a setback the next day by losing 1-3 to G2 Esports, it does not take away from the team's magnificent journey. They still have one more match on September 19th to try to reach the LEC Grand Finale... and thus take their revenge on G2 Esports. As for the Worlds, the ticket is secured, it's just a matter of making the most of the remaining time to work with the firm intention of shining internationally... Especially with the brand new white and gold Worlds 2026 jersey. 

KC also shines on Valorant and Rocket League

The team League of Legends took the spotlight over the weekend but they are not the only ones making waves. Indeed, the team competing in Valorant managed to be crowned European champion, beating Team Liquid 3-1 in the finals. It's a historic first that comes at the end of a season that had started poorly. Thanks to a steely mindset and a lot of perseverance, the team achieved one of the biggest comebacks in the history of VCT EMEA Stage 2. On the Rocket League side, the story continues to unfold. The trio formed by Atow, Vatira, and juicy shows its solidity over the months. This earned them a very quick qualification for the Rocket League Worlds to be held from September 15 to 20 in Dallas. Karmine Corp is solid and aspires for more. What's next, in a few weeks!
