To say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 was an anticipated episode would be an understatement. Campaign, Zombies mode, multiplayer, every aspect of the title has hyped up players. The developers delivered because, after a week, the game was announced as a success. It was just the beginning. The truth is that it continues to break records for the franchise.

All dials are at their highest

An image, that's what Activision released to thank everyone playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Not only is the title praised by the press, but it also captivates the community. We can especially commend the work of Raven Software on the solo campaign and Treyarch on the other aspects of the game, namely the Zombies mode and multiplayer. Since October 25, the official release day of the title, the servers have been bustling. Matches follow one after the other, and everyone is now enjoying the content of Season 1.

The result, 30 days after the official release, is that this installment is the most popular Call of Duty in the franchise. More precisely, it is the one with the highest number of players, as well as the most hours played and matches launched. Three key criteria that allow us to confidently assert that it's a true success.

It must be said that the developers went all out to maximize their chances. The campaign offers very cinematic sequences, in addition to a gripping storyline that takes players to various locations around the world. It also marks the return of big names in the franchise, like Frank Woods and Russel Adler. Moreover, it's the first installment in the franchise to revolutionize gameplay by integrating omnidirectional movements. The character gains freedom of action, with much better control. Several multiplayer game modes are available to keep fans engaged, and there are a good number of maps to vary the fun, not to mention the seasonal content that continually renews interest.

As always, we can expect a new season every 3 months or so, with content spread between the launch of the season and its midpoint, with the Reloaded update. Let's not forget that CoD Black Ops 6 is also available in the Xbox Game Pass, with the possibility of playing it via the Cloud. This means that if you have the Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you can enjoy it at no additional cost on Xbox, of course, but also on your PC, tablet, smartphone, and any device compatible with Xbox Cloud.
