League of Legends is a legendary license dear to many players. By producing an animated series set in the video game universe, Riot Games had to not disappoint. The first season required the involvement of more than 300 people and five years of development. The result? A series acclaimed by critics, fans, and newcomers. Three years later, the sequel arrives.
An unmissable three-act event
The first season is often highlighted for the quality of its animation. It must be admitted, it is exceptional. On its own, it can convert newcomers to the universe of League of Legends, while also captivating fans of the license. In any case, everyone is invited to follow the adventures of the sisters Jinx and Vi in the world of Runeterra. Three years later, in November 2024, Christian Linke and Alex Yee return, still on behalf of Netflix and with the participation of Fortiche Production for direction and animation. This season 2 will be broadcast in three parts, each marking an act. The first will arrive on November 9 on the streaming platform. Riot Games' games also benefit
To mark the occasion and increase the series' visibility, Riot Games plans to include special content in several of its games. Thus, LoL, TFT, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift will welcome Ambessa Medarda, the Noxian general from S1. Warwick will also be added to Legends of Runeterra. LoL players will additionally be able to discover Jinx's story in Arcane in-game, as well as enjoy, among other things, a brawling Vi skin. Teamfight Tactics, for its part, will integrate several champions from Arcane in its thirteenth set, including Powder. Of course, there will also be cosmetic elements inspired by the series. Wild Rift, for its part, is content with gameplay updates for Singed and Warwick, in addition to welcoming Heimerdinger. Finally, Valorant players will be treated with a series-themed pack.
