In a few days, Season 6 of Call of Duty: Mobile will come to an end. Starting August 6, 2026, we will say goodbye to the Ghost Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5 and say hello to the T-800 and T-1000. As you have correctly understood, Season 7 will prominently feature the film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In addition to a thematic event highlighting the famous characters from James Cameron's film, players will be able to discover two new multiplayer modes, a new Battle Pass, a new rifle, and even the Battle Royale mode: Lockdown.

"Hasta la vista, baby"

Call of Duty: Mobile may be a pocket experience, but the game has nothing to envy from titles available on PC and home consoles. Even though many eyes are turned towards Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the next iteration of the franchise releasing on October 23, we must not overlook the Mobile version which shines with its offering and the collaborations highlighted. The development team clearly pampers this CoD Mobile for the delight of fans.

Thus, after The Boys and even Persona 5, it's another franchise's turn to be at the heart of the next season. Activision strikes hard as the publisher has managed to secure a collaboration to integrate content from James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day. It will start with the implementation of a thematic event that will require winning Cyberdyne Technology. For what reason? To unlock about fifteen rewards. Among these, there will be the operator appearance Blackjack - Endoskeleton.

In addition, Terminator fans can go to the store to retrieve operator appearances featuring the models of the T-800 and T-1000. Both are to be retrieved in the "It Goes Two" offer, which will also provide access to the HS0405 shotgun - T-800's Final Judgment and the BP50 - T-1000's Mimetic Execution.

Try Blockade before sinking into Chaos

In addition to all the Terminator-themed elements, the development team has worked on several new features. Thus, players will be brought to test Lockdown, a new objective-based game mode available in Battle Royale. It takes place on Rebirth Island and requires capturing and holding point zones that change regularly. The little twist is that in each game, one of the strategic points will be declared a "high-value zone." This point should not be overlooked as the team controlling it will score double points.

In Multiplayer mode, there will also be new content, starting with the Operator Skill Overdrive mode. This takes the form of a general melee. The difference with what everyone knows is that you will need to collect agent talents before upgrading and merging them. The idea is to obtain increasingly powerful talents, knowing that each agent talent will have three levels. The development team provides a concrete example: if you combine Tempest and Purifier, you can use the Thunderfire Storm.

Finally, those who appreciate the Hardpoint mode can discover a variant called Mayhem. In this one, each operator will take on a role, between Anchor, Rover, and Controller. Communication within the team will be important since two people will be on defense, two others will be Rovers, and the last one on the team will be a Controller. Each role must play with its objective in mind. The Anchor must control the objective, the Rover will be invited to eliminate opponents while the Controller will play the support role for the team by chaining point streaks. As a bonus, the Nuketown map will get a little makeover. Textures and lighting will be notably improved.

A new Pass for royal Precision

As always, the arrival of a new Season means the deployment of a new Battle Pass. We won't change a recipe that works, so the Season 7 pass will indeed be made up of free levels and Premium levels. With the free part, players will be able to unlock the Cronen Squall, an assault rifle that will benefit from reduced recoil and a moderate rate of fire. Those who wish can also use the Overload class in Battle Royale to eliminate opponents using a Shock Stick. On the Premium levels side, we note the possibility of accessing new operator skins, including Ether - Cyborg Rebel, Demir - The Mech Hunter, and Ripper - Broadcast.
