Unleashed Content for Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 5 Season 3

Fortnite Débridé
FortniteMay 25, 20242 min read

Time flies, chapters and their seasons follow one another... The Battle Royale version of Fortnite is already entering Season 3 of Chapter 5. To make it simpler, we can call it by its nickname: Unbridled. Of course, it arrives in the logic of renewing the game's content, in addition to all the updates from collaborations, like the latest one with the Star Wars franchise. Grab a can of Nuka-Cola from the fridge and let's explore the content of this new season.

A desert, somewhere between Fallout and Mad Max

Just watch the announcement trailer for Unbridled to understand that the developers wanted to make several nods to pop culture universes. Between Mad Max and Fallout, passing by the X-Men, connoisseurs will crack a few smiles. In any case, this new season mainly adds a new biome, the desert. It is located in the south of the island and is already in the hands of the Wasteland Gang. The latter has erected three points of interest, each with a leader. So, you can go to the Redline Rig nitro refinery under the control of the Machinist, the Nitrodome under the rule of Scarr, queen of the ring, or the Brutal Beachhead, the Gang's operations base, which is in the hands of Megalo Don.

Your goal seems quite obvious. You will need to eliminate the warriors to retrieve their modified car, their medallion, and their favorite weapon, which are respectively an assault rifle, a crossbow, and nitro gauntlets. You got it, vehicle mods are making a comeback, just like the cow catcher and off-road tires. You can equip SUVs, try the Behemoth chassis, or even seize a battle bus. To help your vehicles go faster or gain robustness, the developers strongly encourage you to collect sprayers and nitro barrels. While you're at it, try to get some nice cold bottles of Nuka-Cola (the iconic beverage from the Fallout franchise) to restore some HP and strengthen your shield.

Finally, a new season inevitably means a new Battle Pass. Thus, in exchange for 950 V-bucks, you can obtain several rewards, including outfits from the Wasteland Gang and desert warriors like Cinder, Pilepois, Fluorescent Scavenger, or even the T-60 powered armor. You will have until August 16 to complete the Pass, and if you complete the combat quests that will be available in July, you can unlock a final bonus: the Desert Magneto... Thank you, Marvel!
