After video games, comics, and the series, The Raving Rabbids have just found a brand new playground. EVA is partnering with Ubisoft to offer a unique multiplayer VR experience called The Raving Rabbids: Color Chaos. The goal? To color more of the map's surface than the opposing team. Get ready to participate in ultra-fun colorful chaos.
An immersive experience
EVA represents a cross between video games and laser tag by offering an immersive VR experience linked to spatial movements. Specifically, instead of simply staying fixed on a chair, on your couch, or standing in front of your machine, players find themselves fixing a virtual reality headset on their head, taking a weapon physically in their hands, and evolving in a 500m² arena, which brings the battles to life. The result is a more realistic experience than ever that blurs the lines between reality and virtual. Those who have already tried the Battle Arena, a team competitive shooting game, or Moon of the Dead, a cooperative game requiring facing hordes of zombies, will tell you: trying it is adopting it.
Even if many return again and again, whether for pleasure or for a more competitive aspect, the EVA teams regularly inject new blood to renew the experiences. This can take the form of new maps for the Battle Arena or even a whole new experience, like the exclusive EVA Karting GP currently at EVA Paris-East. Surprise, from today, a whole new way of playing is appearing, thanks to a collaboration with Ubisoft. All EVA rooms now host The Raving Rabbids: Color Chaos.
Rabbids, paint, what could go wrong?
Thus, anyone aged at least 10 years can now experience colorful battles gathering up to 10 players per game. For 40 minutes, you will embody one of the famous Raving Rabbids in a setting developed for the occasion. Cooperation will obviously be necessary to be the team that has colored the most surface by the end of the allotted time. The experience promises to participate in wacky games subject to colorful chaos. To accomplish your mission, you can use three different weapons.
The first, the Splasher, allows you to paint, deal damage, and heal at medium range. The second, the Arbwaahlète, is a precision weapon ideal for supporting allies. As for the third, the Bwaahster, it offers a better rate of fire to paint surfaces at short range. A nice additional feature is that several maps will be offered to renew the experience, and EVA already promises regular updates to enrich it over time.
