Hello everyone, hello to all here Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Let's take a look together at Fortnite. The Battle Royale has just set a new record. The fifth season, called OG, started this Friday, November 3rd, and the least we can say is that success was immediate. The next day, Epic Games announced that its title had broken an audience record with 44.7 million players connected simultaneously, and the equivalent of 102 million hours played in one day! Simply crazy.
The enthusiasm for this new season was such that the hashtag Fortnite had reached 300 million views on TikTok a few days before the launch. Several thousand videos in which we could see players claiming they were "back on Fortnite" while others assured they were reassembling their teams from five years ago. It must be said that nothing was left to chance. Fortnite OG focuses on the nostalgia of players who discovered and loved the Battle Royale at its beginnings. This return to the roots could allow reconnecting with that prosperous era.
The arrival of Eleven but not only
You know Fortnite loves to integrate characters from major pop culture franchises into its lore. It's one of the key characters from the series Stranger Things broadcast on one of the most well-known streaming platforms that makes their appearance in the game. As always, it's in a video posted on their YouTube channel that Fortnite announced the news. But while it is indeed Eleven who is highlighted, know that it's not less than three skins that you can obtain. That of Eleven, but also that of Chief Hopper and the terrible Demogorgon.

Skins available solo (at 1500 V-Bucks for Eleven and Hopper, at 1200 V-Bucks for the Demogorgon), but also within a "Stranger Things" pack. Eleven is awarded a special pack at 3100 V-Bucks. This includes a double skin of Eleven in civilian clothes and in test subject outfit. Let's be honest, what interests us is the "Telekinetic Breakfast" that allows us to make waffles fly! And it's indeed for the waffles that I'm going to take it all!
That's all for today, but we'll see you soon for a new gaming news bulletin. It was Quill wishing you a good day in Metropolis.
