After two delays, Ubisoft finally set the release date for its Assassin's Creed Shadows to March 20, 2025. This is the day the installment arrives, immersing players in a story centered around two characters, Naoe and Yasuke. To mark the occasion, Ubisoft has released several videos, including a launch trailer.
The wait is over
We have repeatedly mentioned throughout the communication about Assassin's Creed Shadows that this installment is highly anticipated. Indeed, since the saga's launch in 2007, many fans have dreamed of exploring Japan. This desire now becomes a reality. It's even more true as it takes advantage of the power of PCs, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S to deliver polished visuals accompanied by numerous effects to bring the environment to life. To properly mark the start of this new adventure, Ubisoft is releasing the traditional launch trailer.
This one minute and thirty-nine seconds video showcases several segments of the game to entice players to dive into the depicted feudal Japan. It's time to appreciate Naoe and Yasuke, the two playable characters, in action, while immersing oneself in the narrated story. It's also an opportunity for the publisher to remind players that they can embody a shinobi or a samurai. In the first case, it's preferable to prioritize stealth, taking advantage of Naoe's speed and agility. In the second case, one can unleash brute strength, as Yasuke can face multiple enemies and use his build to dive right into the action. To each their own path!
Guides to start well
Even if fans will be on familiar ground, as Ubisoft retains the main lines of its usual formula, it can be good to prepare before tackling a game. Therefore, the developers have prepared a handful of guides to allow everyone to know the basics before embarking on the adventure. Better than a simple manual, these last between 7 and 8 minutes each to explore specific topics more deeply. We start, with the video below, by discovering the guide to learn more about the open world.
If you wish to deepen your knowledge, we also invite you to watch the guide that covers combat and the one that deals with stealth. Thus, these three elements will no longer hold any secrets for you, or almost... It is also a good way to prepare newcomers so that the discovery of the series takes place under the best possible conditions.
