It's real, the rapper Tyler, The Creator joins Fortnite

Two weeks after integrating The Simpsons license into its flagship game, Epic Games is already setting up a new collaboration. This time, it's a rap star who is in the spotlight. For the occasion, she played the role of Mother Christmas. A few days earlier, it was the Argentine football star Lionel Messi who was in the spotlight.

Today, it's Tyler Gregory Okonma's turn to have his moment of glory. Better known as Tyler, The Creator, this 34-year-old artist has several strings to his bow. He is both a musician, actor, producer, director, stylist, etc. He is the founder of the collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All (formed in 2007) and became known with his solo album Bastard released in 2009. Since then, he has released several albums, including Goblin, Cherry Bomb, Call Me If You Get Lost, Chromakopia, or the recent Don't Tap The Glass to name a few.

Now, he can add another line to his resume as he joins Fortnite. More precisely, his digital double is now available. Interested people can visit the game's shop to get his new outfit, as well as its Toon version. A second outfit, Chromakopian, is also part of the package (Sepia version available). Of course, other cosmetic items have been added. Those who indulge can enjoy two BackBlings, the Lil' Golf Cart and Thought I Was Dead emotes, the Chroma trail, two wraps, and two instruments, namely the microphone and the drum set.

Finally, it would have been cruel to deprive players of the artist's talent by only offering cosmetic items. Epic Games is far from being so, quite the opposite. The proof, to allow everyone to enjoy the sound of Tyler, The Creator, the studio has added three Jam Tracks. You can enjoy EARFQUAKE, Ring Ring Ring, and Sticky.
