Sett will join the 2XKO arena alongside Samira

According to Riot Games' roadmap, the last two characters to join the 2XKO roster at the end of this year were supposed to be Lux and Samira. While the former made her entrance into the arena last month, the latter is still expected this month. But, surprise, another fighter, highly requested by the community, will also be part of the lineup. Sett will join the roster on October 27.  

Samira, the rose that hides a thorn

2XKO is the 2v2 fighting game capable of bringing together everyone who loves versus fighting and all those who are fans of League of Legends. Announced in 2019 under the name Project L, the title has made its way to launch in early 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S as a free-to-play. In other words, it is accessible for free. Despite its obvious qualities and a community that managed to form a hardcore base, Riot Games was forced to make choices. The American company decided to stop active support for the game at the very end of the year. 

Nevertheless, they did not intend to leave the players with nothing. Indeed, they had unveiled their roadmap covering the rest of the year, from Lux's arrival on September 8, 2026, to the deployment of a final patch in December of the same year. In this context, Riot Games planned to complete the roster with a final character scheduled for fall 2026, namely Samira. With her unique style reminiscent of Dante from the Devil May Cry franchise, the desert rose represented a nice gift for all those who play the game. Indeed, as shown in her presentation video, Samira brings a certain dynamism to the fights thanks to the use of her personalized sword and her two black powder pistols. She is an ideal fighter for all fans of combos. 

Game, Sett, and match

Surprise, Samira will not be alone. On October 27, she will be accompanied by another character, namely Sett. Demanded loudly by the community, the leader of the flourishing criminal world of Ionia presented himself as an obvious candidate to join the roster. Indeed, he is built for fighting, so much so that in League of Legends he managed to take control of the arenas by force of his fists. Savage, capable of taking hits, he is a perfect fighter for hand-to-hand combat. To make yourself respected both in the virtual arena and in the physical world, you can even wear the magnificent dedicated Ionia t-shirt. 

Unless there is a last-minute change, Sett will be the ultimate fighter in 2XKO. However, let's remember that the development team promised to integrate demonic skins for Illaoi, Teemo, and Warwick to celebrate Halloween. Finally, Riot Games will deploy patch 1.3.3, the very last one planned, to offer a final gift to the entire community. It will include bug fixes, adjustments, and the addition of 35 new skins.
