Folie Fermière Fortnite
FortniteApr 23, 20243 min read

Since the integration of the three new experiences in Fortnite, it's madness, new content keeps arriving. Recently, it was the Rocket Racing part that got a thematic update called Neon Rush. As for the Battle Royale experience, it got a breath of fresh air with content related to the license Avatar: The Last Airbender, which also allowed for the acquisition of LEGO versions of Aang, Aang Avatar, Toph Beifong, Zuko, and Katara. Specifically, if we're interested in the LEGO experience, the update deployed about two months ago, Catch of the Day, added fishing. Today, a whole new universe is being explored...

Breathe the fresh farm air

Named 29.30 by its trivial name or Farm Frenzy by its nickname, the new LEGO Fortnite update invites you to explore the farm universe. To welcome all these new additions, the developers have increased the recruitment capacity to ten per village, allowing for the recruitment of three villagers, three animals, and four other members. It's up to you to decide whether to prioritize humans or animals. To populate your village and pastures, you can integrate cows, sheep, and chickens... But also pigs.

Beyond the pleasure of being around animals daily, this update allows obtaining resources from them. Each will produce fertilizer and a specific resource. Thus, with chickens, you get feathers, with cows, milk, with sheep, wool, and with pigs, mushrooms (thanks to their snouts). To help us manage the village and its new occupants, five new villagers make their appearance. The wood expert Amarante is joined by Sacha, Debruisseau, Lana Lama, and Jonesy the cow.

How to welcome all these new additions?

Roll up your sleeves, the animals won't come to your plot if you don't encourage them to stay. To welcome them in the best conditions, it is necessary to build them a barn. For this, you just need to reach level 2 for your village. Once the barn is installed, it will allow you to feed the animals and collect resources. Since animals are not living plush toys, you need to take care of them. If you come across a wild animal, we recommend a gentle approach. Calmly approach, pet the animal, and give it a little treat.

Does it gobble it up? Congratulations, you have a chance to bring the animal to your village. It's up to you to guide it so that its journey goes smoothly. If, unfortunately, it gets hurt, give it a new treat to heal it. It's a bit like the magic kiss with children... There you go, now that you've managed to bring it back, assign it a barn and continue to take care of it if you don't want it to go see if the grass is greener elsewhere.

Finally, other improvements, fixes, and more minor additions are also included as evidenced by the patch note. We especially draw your attention to the presence of bears. It is better to avoid them to hope they do not reach your village. Otherwise, it could cause some inconveniences. As a little extra, to provide additional diversity, the developers have added yellow chickens in the meadows, brown and red chickens in the arid valleys, and cows with different colors and spot patterns.
