Fortnite Festival Saison 7
FortniteJan 14, 20253 min read

Who says new season of Fortnite Festival, says new artist highlighted. Since the launch of this musical experience by Harmonix, the developers have carefully chosen partnerships to highlight essential stars, and this in different styles. Last month, to celebrate the first year of the Fortnite Festival, the developers paid tribute to the first four stars who agreed to evolve in a pixel version. Let's not forget that Karol G accompanied the season 5, while Snoop Dogg was associated with the sixth. For Season 7, starting today, it is a must-see virtual artist who takes the microphone.

Hatsune Miku materializes on stage

Hatsune Miku is a true global star recognizable by her turquoise hair and eyes. Even though she does not physically exist in the real world, she is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. This virtual artist was born in 2007 in Japan. Appearing in the Vocaloid 2 voice synthesis software, she quickly gained popularity, even performing concerts as a hologram. She has over 100,000 songs to her credit. Being a virtual artist, it makes sense to see her appear in the Fortnite Festival experience.

Thus, you have until April 8, 2025, to enjoy Hatsune Miku and the Music Pass associated with her. The novelty, introduced at the end of last year, is that there are no longer two paths as in the past. Now, free elements and bonus rewards are mixed within a single path as part of the standardization of the experience with other Fortnite Passes. Of course, to access the bonus rewards, you still need to invest V-bucks in the Pass, 1400 to be exact, or join the Fortnite Club.

Rewards, again and again

At this price, you can immediately unlock the Hatsune Miku neko outfit and its LEGO variant. Then, as you progress, you will obtain the star's keytar, its purple Fluorescent variant, or even the guitar. The final reward is the Fluorescent version of the pop star's outfit. For the musical side, four tracks are to be collected, including M@GICAL☆CURE! LOVE ♥ SHOT! by SAWTOWNE. The three other tracks come from other artists. They are "Work Work" by Britney Spears, "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" by Cake, and "Love Don't Cost A Thing" by Jennifer Lopez.

The free rewards also allow you to collect four music tracks, all signed by Epic Games: “Cherry Cordial,” “Dexting,” “First Person,” and “Rage to Fight.” If you already have the latter, rest assured you will be refunded its value in V-bucks. As for the rest, the free items include the Sonic Clash guitar as the final reward, as well as the Flying Lanterns aura, the Quiet Break emote, and the Electric Shamisen bass. Of course, those who want more content related to Hatsune Miku can visit the game store to purchase two packs: the Hatsune Miku pack, which includes, among other things, an outfit and the Miku track by Anamanaguchi and Hatsune Miku, as well as the Hatsune Miku Cyclone pack consisting of the Cyclone chassis and several stickers.

New Game Modes

If you head to the Royale stage, you will notice the availability of four new modes that allow you to focus on a particular instrument, whether it be only the main instrument, the drums, the vocals, or the bass. Of course, the developers specify that the point tally system has been readjusted to align with this novelty. As for the main stage, it welcomes a new feature requested by many people. Local multiplayer makes its appearance on PlayStation and Xbox, allowing four people to play together on the same console. However, there is one important small restriction: to join the group and thus enjoy a local session, each participant must be connected to an active Epic account. In other words, a guest account is not sufficient.
