Epic Games regularly adds fresh blood to its Fortnite. In addition to Unleashed (Chapter 5 - Season 3), the American studio recently integrated an experience centered on Star Wars and another on Metallica. This time, it is not a collaboration but indeed the addition of a new mode called Recharge. So we reload and get back into action.
The team above all
The new Recharge mode, which has just been deployed, offers a more condensed Battle Royale experience focused on teamwork. Indeed, this time, the mode hosts 40 players divided into ten teams of four. The peculiarity is that as long as one member of your squad is still alive, you have the ability to respawn by starting your recovery countdown instead of being revived. At least, this is true until the end of the game, as recoveries are disabled in the final moments. Why is teamwork important? Simply because, in addition to giving teammates the opportunity to stay in the team, group members can reduce the respawn delay of fallen teammates by securing a few eliminations.
A more condensed experience
Obviously, if there are fewer players in the game, it is important to have a map that is adapted to maintain a certain level of action. Therefore, the developers have introduced a new map of a smaller size. However, be careful, as it includes some familiar points of interest, starting with Retail Row and Tilted Towers. Also, pay attention to the storm as it moves faster. Finally, there are always rewards to be earned by completing available quests. In addition to earning 20,000 experience points for each completed quest, it is possible to unlock the Digital Dive trail by completing 3, the Cube Pool wrap with 6, or the Banana Bath back bling with 9. To enjoy the Paretour glider, you simply need to achieve a Victory Royale.
