Stop everything, Police Simulator intervenes on a Fortnite island
For three years, players have been able to enjoy a kind of “live my life” as a police officer with Aesir Interactive's Police Simulator. This simulation published by astragon Entertainment allows you to step into the shoes of a law enforcement officer. Now, the license is integrating into Fortnite through the Creator mode. Thus, similar to what Jalf Industries does, which creates different Fortnite islands, astragon has commissioned a special island from Independent Arts Software.
Hands up, don't move, this is an intervention
From a young age, in the playground, we love playing cops and robbers. The principle works well, the bad thieves must avoid getting caught by the law enforcement while the latter do everything to neutralize them. On the Police Simulator island (code 7133-3117-3361), it's somewhat similar. The development studio has developed a game mode that involves two teams, the Hunters and the Props. The names may seem strange, but it's because the mode is less conventional than you might think. Here, the police are replaced by Hunters who must eliminate the opposing group.
Meanwhile, the bad guys become Props and try to stay alive until the timer runs out. Behind this strange name lies a game mechanic since they have the Prop-O-Matic, a gun that allows them to transform into a prop and thus hide in the environment. Of course, after a certain period, their disguise is no longer sufficient to camouflage them.
You might then say that the concept is quite far from the original game that plays the simulation card. You're right! Nevertheless, part of the universe is still present since the island takes the form of a vast space that houses a headquarters, whose interior is accessible, for law enforcement and various patrol cars. Last but not least, everyone can enjoy it for free, knowing that this island is initiated by astragon and is not sponsored by Epic Games.
