343 Industries continues to take care of the multiplayer part of Halo Infinite. A quarter after offering the Cyber Showdown III operation, the development studio returns with an operation appreciated by fans of the franchise, namely Tenrai. More precisely, until next July 2, the Tenrai IV operation will be active, bringing with it a 20-level Operation Pass. But that's not all...

The Juggernaut mode returns with a variant

A mode appreciated by the community, Juggernaut makes its big return as part of the new update. For those who may not know what it's about, let's clarify the rules a bit. A player is designated at the start of the game as the Juggernaut and everyone wants to take their place. Of course, to withstand the assaults of other players, the Juggernaut benefits from some advantages, starting with increased speed and better damage resistance, in addition to stronger shields. On the offensive side, they can rely on a gravity hammer and a quantum translocator.

To add an aspect more in line with the Japanese theme of the Tenrai IV operation, the developers have added a variant called Ninjanaut. In this, players who hunt the Juggernaut can use the Threat Seekers to track them down. However, the Juggernaut benefits from Active Camouflage to try to eliminate opponents discreetly, in addition to having a Grappleshot and unlimited plasma grenades. However, be careful, the camouflage is limited and resets with each enemy eliminated.

Map, additional features, bonuses

To accompany the theme of Tenrai IV, the developers had the idea to bring back several maps from Tenrai III, namely Dynasty, Houseki, Kaiketsu, Kiken’na, Opulence, Shiro, Shogun, and Takamanohara. Additionally, the forgers ikRips, Foge, and bullet2thehead9 collaborated to create Hanami, a brand new map.

Finally, besides the Exchange which also brings back Tenrai items from the past, we can note the integration of the Match Composer, a feature offering more flexibility. Indeed, it allows selecting an available playlist and choosing the game modes you wish to participate in. You select, you deselect, it's as easy as pie.
