Since adding the three new experiences related to the Fortnite universe, Epic Games continues to deploy updates to enrich them. In addition to launching Season 2 of the Fortnite Festival centered on Lady Gaga, the American studio adds fishing to LEGO Fortnite with Belle Prise. Does it bait you?
A mode that has the catch!
The developers said it, and they kept their word: with Belle Prise, fishing makes its appearance. Before you can catch fish and other brick jellyfish, you need to start by equipping yourself. Beyond the hat, boots, and bait, you especially need a fishing rod. Four rods can be crafted according to a level of rarity. At level 1, a rope allows you to craft a typical fishing rod. At level 2, a knotted wood stick is needed for an atypical rod. At level 3, it's the flexible wood stick that allows you to obtain the rare fishing rod. Finally, at level 4, with a Nordic pine stick, you can unlock the epic fishing rod blueprint.

Catch them all
In total, fifteen creatures, listed below, can be caught depending on the biome, the type of water, the weather, and the time of day. Be attentive because with a stroke of luck or a bit of skill, you might catch a legendary version of the available marine animals. If that's the case, keep them, as a future update will allow you to earn some trophies thanks to that.

They need to be baited
To increase your chances of catching them, developers encourage you to use bait. By throwing them into the water, you'll create a fishing spot. It's up to you to use a bait bucket according to one of the four levels of rarity to increase your chances of attracting fish. Once you've caught them, all that's left is to set up the fish preparer, a new workstation, to turn them into fish fillets... Or into smoked fry with a grill or even into blue-black shield fish sushi.

New things, again and again
Two new villagers join the LEGO Fortnite universe. As luck would have it, they are three fishermen, Marin who gives some advice, Martin, and Chalutière. Two new resources also make their appearance. The first is sand, which must be collected by digging in sandy areas. Don't forget your shovel... The second is glass, which is made with the collected sand and a workbench. Once you have glass, add a workbench and you can craft a telescope to observe distant elements or a compass that makes navigation easier. By opting for the sophisticated compass, you can even enjoy map markers added to your interface. Finally, note that two new amulets have been added, a reflective one to deflect some of the damage and a wave breaker to swim faster.

A story of outfits
With this new update, the LEGO versions of the Airie, Flakes Power, Iron Man Zero, Lazarbeam, Loserfruit, Max au Maxx, and Ninja outfits have been added. It is worth noting that it is now possible to equip the outfit you want if it has multiple LEGO versions.
