Accelerate full throttle in Fortnite with the Neon Ride!
Pilots, get ready to experience wild races under the neon lights! The Zero Season of Rocket Racing mode, in collaboration with Rocket League, is coming to an end and Neon Rush (Neon Ride in French) is arriving on Fortnite, bringing with it a host of new features.
Illuminated urban circuits
Neon Rush invites you to discover five new circuits created by Epic Games, four of which transform a different city into a thrilling race track.
Here are the five circuits offered at the launch of Neon Rush:
- Hills of Capers: skid and take shortcuts for a successful city finish. (Difficulty: Novice. Track unlocked in Ranked Racing at Bronze I rank.)
- Triplicity: perform aerial dodges between multiple roads and enjoy a true freestyle experience. (Difficulty: Novice. Track unlocked in Ranked Racing at Silver I rank.)
- Twisted Passages: This city in the rainforest is full of waterfalls and even offers a gigantic free fall. (Difficulty: Expert. Track unlocked in Ranked Racing at Platinum I rank.)
- Delirium: how do you handle urban piloting upside down? (Difficulty: Expert. Track unlocked in Ranked Racing at Diamond I rank.)
- Thirst for Slap: take a break from the illuminated nightlife and skid in a small town. (Difficulty: Advanced. Track unlocked in Ranked Racing at Gold I rank.)
Community-created circuits: unleash your imagination!
What could be more effective than the creativity of Fortnite creators? In addition to the races prepared by the developer Epic, it is possible thanks to the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), to design your own Rocket Racing circuits!
The creations can be tested using classic Fortnite island codes or simply by discovering the most popular circuits, propelled by the community through five selections:
- What's possible with UEFN: A temporary line highlighting the possibilities of creating circuits with UEFN!
- Best Community Time Trial Circuits: The most popular community-created Time Trial circuits.
- New Community Time Trial Circuits: The community-created Time Trial circuits that are quickly gaining popularity.
- Best Community Race Circuits: The most popular community-created Race circuits.
- New Community Race Circuits: The community-created Race circuits that are quickly gaining popularity
These races are available for fun and not yet integrated into competitive game modes, although Epic does not rule out the possibility of competing on community circuits in ranked!
New ranked season: start from scratch!
This is your chance to make it to the podium! Your rank will be based on your performance in the last season, so if you shined, you might start in Gold, Silver, or even Diamond. Good luck to everyone in surpassing your ranks from the previous season.
This new season of Neon Rush also brings some changes to the time trial world with even more challenges: all race tracks created by Epic are now available in Time Trial mode.
Finally, your progress will obviously be remarkable and noticed. If you complete the Neon Rush challenges, you will then be able to unlock the Aetherius wheels and 13 different colors to customize them. Ranked challenges are also available, with rewards like the Cryptadelic trail in different colors.
No more classic seasons in Rocket Racing!
Instead, Epic offers you major updates with specific themes, but also leaves room for unexpected new features.
Neon Rush is a good example: electric neon races, community-created tracks, and even a track in a small peaceful town. There's something for everyone. So, there are no announced dates for future updates, but rest assured they will be full of surprises, we certainly don't doubt it!
