A well-frozen deep freeze lands on Rainbow Six Siege!
A new season rich in content
With much anticipation, the new season of Rainbow Six: Siege finally arrives! Operation Deep Freeze introduces many new features, and we will detail a few of them for you.
A new season means a new agent!
Tubarão (a name that translates to "shark" in Portuguese) joins the Rainbow team. This new agent, whose design is, according to the game's developers, a delightful mix between a navy special forces agent and a surfer, is equipped with a new type of gadget, the Zoto Canister. This releases a refrigerant gas that slows down enemies and makes their footprints visible, adding a new strategic dimension for defenders: it will now be possible to cancel the effects of electronic and mechanical gadgets, in addition to providing a wealth of information to teammates!
Lair: the super villain's map
A new map arrives with the new season, it is called "Lair." The operation center of Deimos, an antagonist previously introduced in the Rainbow Six Siege lore, is located in a cave. The map offers a visually impressive setting and promises tactical battles in an environment that is both beautiful and complex, pushing players to adapt to its features while staying focused on the objective.
New players are not forgotten!
This new season is rich in content, and many gameplay changes are made: the iconic Rainbow Six Siege mechanic of grenade verticality is largely reduced, it is no longer possible to hold grenades in hand to reduce their detonation time.
Finally, the game's development team continues its openness to new players with many features for map discovery and learning, shooting training, with in-depth changes to situations and the addition of matches against AI while continuing to ensure player protection.
