Solid Snake arrives with the 28.10 update of Fortnite Battle Royale

We mentioned it a few days ago, Fortnite's patch 28.10 is full of new features! The LEGO mode is enjoying additions and bug fixes, and you can bet the Battle Royale mode is not left out!
This update kicks off with a bang as it marks the introduction of Solid Snake, an iconic character from the Metal Gear Solid franchise (Konami), into the game.
Before you can don your best Solid Snake skin, you'll first need to unlock his outfits by completing the Battle Pass Big Bang missions. Solid Snake's quests are available now on the quests page! The quests will be available until March 8, 2024, at 8 a.m. (CET)
Because Epic Games never does things halfway, the optical camouflage device and cardboard boxes are also found on the island! These tools allow players to become temporarily invisible or hide in the environment, adding a strategic layer to the gameplay.
Because stealth rhymes with brawl
The Anvil rocket launcher makes its explosive return. This weapon offers a new combat dynamic by allowing players to lock onto vehicular targets and launch precise attacks. This addition diversifies the weapon options available to players and renews combat strategies.
The update also brings Super Level styles, unlockable from level 150 of the battle pass, offering more customization options. These new styles add variety and give more style to the Order or Hope, depending on your choice.
From a technical standpoint, the Fortnite team has made balancing adjustments to improve the gaming experience. Weapons like the Enforcer assault rifle, the Reaper sniper rifle, and the Hyper SMG have been modified to better balance the game.
These changes aim to provide fairer and more competitive gameplay. Additionally, adjustments have been made to the speed of storm circles and other parameters to align the game pace with previous chapters.
The FNCS is fast approaching, and some additions from this patch 28.10, such as the EMP stealth camouflage and the Anvil rocket launcher, are not included in tournaments for competitive balance reasons.
