Hello everyone, hello to all, here is Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Today, a recap of the latest information revealed by Bethesda about Starfield on the occasion of Gamescom 2023.
As you know, the game is (very) anticipated from September 6, 2023, exclusively on the Xbox console and day one on the Xbox Game Pass.
It was during Gamescom 2023 that the Bethesda studio unveiled, without spoilers, new information about the most anticipated game of this season. Enough to delight fans more than eager to finally get their hands on this serious contender for GOTY.
The new information is quite substantial and only increases an already very real hype. We learn that the New Game+ mode of the game will be directly linked to the main story of the game, but will remain different from this type of mechanic found in other games of the franchise.
The game doesn't "really" start until after the main quest. I pause for a moment on this information which is significant in terms of longevity. Imagine that!
Another piece of news, and not the least, Bethesda opens the door to mods after launch. Modders will be able to let their imagination run wild and create planets, accessories, weapons, and much more. The possibilities seem endless.
The museum on New Atlantis will provide players with crucial information about the story of Starfield, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the events that occurred during the three centuries of human history.
Note that many easter eggs will be present in the game. You know, those nods that Bethesda often makes to other games. Like in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim where references to Star Wars could be found.
Without a doubt, after these various announcements, we are all excited at the idea of discovering this future gem. Just a few more days of patience before the release.
That's all for today, but we'll be back very soon for a new gaming news bulletin. This was Quill wishing you a good day in Metropolis.
