Discover The Spectres of K’aresh from World of Warcraft: The War Within
Time flies, months accumulate, and this month marks a year since the expansion The War Within has been available. Specifically, this anniversary will be celebrated on August 27. While waiting for the festivities, Blizzard Entertainment has set two major events. The first is today, with the arrival of update 11.2 called The Specters of K’aresh. The second will be on August 13 with the launch of Season 3. Let's take stock.
Exciting new features with The Specters of K’aresh
No need to wait, players of World of Warcraft: The War Within can now discover the new features introduced by The Specters of K’aresh, the nickname for update 11.2. This will allow you to explore the world of the Ethereals led by Nexus-Prince Shaffar and Nexus-King Salhadaar. Some know that the arrival of Dimensius the All-Devourer, the void lord, has caused much harm to this world now fragmented into islands. Needless to say, the journey of Azeroth's champions will not be easy. The threat from the Void is very real, and you will have to explore a ruined world displaying some remnants of past glories.
While exploring these lands, you may come across Tazavesh, the hidden market. It also returns as a Mythic+ dungeon, a new mode to be introduced as part of Season 3. Those who have already ventured into the Shadowlands know this dungeon and the eight bosses it contains. The challenge is significant, but Blizzard Entertainment does not intend to leave you empty-handed. The development team is adding a new upgradeable piece of equipment. This is a special cloak. Known as the reshii wraps, it offers a very unique ability. Indeed, it allows you to assume an energetic form that lets you see the world through the eyes of the Ethereals. This will help you bypass security systems that might otherwise cause you some trouble.
Preview of Season 3 content
Even though the content is very enticing, The Specters of K’aresh is a sort of big appetizer preparing for the arrival of Season 3. Available from August 13, it will allow you to enjoy a new raid and a new dungeon. It will also introduce a new mode for dungeons, namely Mythic+. For now, all dungeons are available in normal, heroic, and mythic modes. That said, the new dungeon of Season 3 is called Al’dani Ecodome. This secret ecodome was discovered by a group of desert outcasts. They have made it their home. Your mission will be simple: drive them out. To do this, you will have to face three bosses in addition to the enemies that will stand in your way.
As for the raid, it will require much more effort from the champions. With its 8 bosses, it will invite players to explore the Omega Manaforge. For what purpose? Simply to prevent the return of Dimensius the All-Devourer. Imagine that it could be resurrected... We won't say more to avoid spoiling you. The only thing we can say is what the development studio promises, namely "an incredibly epic raid battle." The hype is at its peak!
