Season 4 of Battlefield 6 started last July 21. Instead of releasing everything at once, Electronic Arts and the Battlefield Studios decided to split the season's content into three parts. The first two, Pacific Front and Top Gun, were deployed in July and August, and now it's time to discover the third one this September. Let's see what this Tidal Strike update has in store.

Give it all to retrieve a knife

Last April, Electronic Arts provided a preview of the follow-up planned for the multiplayer of Battlefield 6 until the end of the year. Season 3 notably integrated two new maps, namely Golmud Railway and Cairo Bazaar. Season 4, which is ongoing, added the Tsuru Reef and Wake Island maps, in addition to providing access to an exclusive event featuring elements from the Top Gun license. Before the arrival of Season 5, the Battlefield Studios aim to offer a fitting conclusion to the fourth season.

Thus, from today, players can dive into the new Deep Six Collection Event. Accessible until September 29, it requires completing contracts. Of course, each challenge grants a reward usable in both the multiplayer mode of Battlefield 6 and the free-to-play version Battlefield REDSEC. The ultimate reward is a very renowned melee weapon, namely the famous Royal Navy diving knife. To ensure you can get your hands on it, be sure to complete as many contracts as possible and don't hesitate to team up with others. Only the final objective counts!

A new trial version, Top Gun continues its flight

Battlefield 6 already has a strong community. Nevertheless, the goal for Electronic Arts is to increase the player base, as well as maintain the existing one. To achieve this, the publisher has planned to multiply free trials to allow everyone to try the game and, who knows, buy it afterward. Thus, the American firm is renewing the experience.

Similar to what was done between August 18 and August 25, EA will offer a new free session, this time between September 15 and September 22. This will be an opportunity to discover the latest added maps, the new Portal experiences (including the addition of King of the Hill and Domination modes as verified modes) or the Casual Breakthrough mode, not to mention the chance to dive into the Deep Six event. Additionally, the Top Gun event is extended until the end of the season.
