Last month, it was the launch of the Season 10 of Call of Duty Mobile... But it was also the fifth anniversary of the pocket experience of the franchise. The content deployed at that time was naturally centered around this event. For Season 11, Activision chose to prioritize efficiency over originality by focusing the content around winter.
A Cold Snap?
This December 12 is an important date in the history of Call of Duty Mobile as it marks the launch of Season 11. Named Winter War 2, it aims to properly celebrate the very near arrival of winter (December 21, 2024). Put on your best winter outfits, new modes are available, along with events and other elements on the theme of cold.
The big novelty of this Season 11 is undoubtedly the Demolition mode. Highly appreciated by fans of the franchise, this mode pits two teams against each other, one attacking and one defending. The first must destroy two sites by planting a bomb, while the second must protect them. At the end of the round, the two teams switch sides. The game is played in two winning rounds, which implies a third round in the event of a tie after the first two.
To offer even more possibilities to players, the developers are deploying two temporary game modes, namely Blizzard and Big Heads, as well as Winter Chameleon. Blizzard and Big Heads is a festive mode in which your head grows with each enemy elimination. You might end up with a big noggin, a melee weapon, and a few extra health points. However, don't expect to recover health as usual... To regain some health points, you'll need to be shot by your teammates. Don't take this mode lightly, especially since the number of respawns is limited for each round. In Winter Chameleon, laughter should be abundant. Indeed, players can hide from the opposing team by taking the form of illuminated trees, gifts, or snowmen.

Heads Up, Here Comes a New Pass
What would a season be without its Pass? A heresy, without a doubt! This new season will indeed have its Pass, with the usual free path and premium path. With the free path, several elements will be unlocked, including two highly interesting ones, namely the RAAL MG machine gun and the Douser tactical grenade, which allows clearing an area that's a bit too filled with harmful effects.

With the Premium part, you will have the opportunity to obtain several winter-themed skins, including the Frozen Fortress skin for the new RAAL MG. If you want even more, the developers invite you to visit the store to discover a new legendary operator in the person of Fiona St. George. She is perfectly in tune with the season, mastering the cold like no one else.
