Last November 10th, Call of Duty fans finally got to dive into Call of Duty Modern Warfare III, just like yours truly. Now that Sledgehammer Games, the development studio, has specified that this new installment has experienced the highest engagement rate of the trilogy, it's time for them to enrich the content. The wait won't be long as the studio will launch Season 1 on December 6th.

Maps and Game Modes
Get ready, there will be a lot to offer, both for CoD MWIII and CoD Warzone. We will start with the arrival of the Meat and Greece maps (in 6 vs 6) in MWIII, in addition to a 2 vs 2 Training Facility map. During the season, it will be off to Rio (still for 6 vs 6) for a bit of warmth and lots of bullets! Ranked play, new Killstreaks (EMP and Swarm), and additional game modes, including Gunfight, All or Nothing, or later Headquarters, Team Gunfight, and Infected, will also be part of the package.
Heading to Urzikstan
On the Zombies side, we will appreciate the arrival of a new warlord, a new breach (Dark Aether), an additional weapon, and a new scripted mission. CoD Warzone will welcome a new map, Urzikstan, and will see the return of the Vondel and Ashika Island maps. Notable facts also include the announcement of skins from the Dune and The Boys licenses, the integration of five new weapons, including the XRK Stalker, RAM-7, and Stormender, which will be in the Battle Pass.
Santa Claus Will Also Intervene
Finally, since the end-of-year holidays are fast approaching, Sledgehammer Games won't miss the opportunity to nod to the season. You can therefore expect Santa's Slayground, an end-of-year event that will add some modes and maps with a Christmas theme. Ho, ho, ho!
