The Eternal Ghost impresses in the S7 of Call of Duty Mobile
The players of Call of Duty Mobile certainly look forward to the end of each month with anticipation. Why? Simply because it's the period chosen by Activision to communicate about the content of the upcoming season. Indeed, unlike other games that follow a quarterly season rhythm, in the case of the pocket version of CoD, we have practically one season per month. After the 90s Synthwave Frenzy with Season 6, fans are preparing to discover Eternal Ghost, Season 7, which will begin on August 1ˢᵗ. Let's take a look at the main additions!
Chief, chief, we've restored the Link
During this period marked by the Olympic Games, the developers wanted to add a sporty note to Call of Duty Mobile. The link mode introduced in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will make its grand return. It is based on the spirit of basketball. Specifically, each team must capture a spherical drone that they will use as a ball. To score points, simply go to the opposing zone to throw the ball at the target. Do this and you score a point. Jump into the goal while holding the ball and you will perform a dunk worth two points. The first team to ten points wins the game, while there is a change of sides as soon as a team reaches five points.
However, a few subtleties should be noted. The first concerns movements since operators can run on walls and take advantage of boosted jumps. The second is that the drone carrier cannot use their firearm, which means they will have to engage in melee combat or pass the "ball" to be able to shoot. Two scenarios then arise, secure the pass with a teammate, who will continue the advance while being covered, or pass to the opponent to prevent them from shooting, while being quick enough to take them down before they escape. Tactics yes, but at what cost?
The new Pass with its two paths
When there is a new season, there is a new Pass, it's systematic. As always, this one will consist of two paths, one with free levels and the other considered premium. In the free path, besides several skins and weapon blueprints to unlock, the main highlights are the possibility of obtaining the ISO submachine gun and the Strafing Run scorestreak. With the premium path, you will get exclusive weapon blueprints but also and especially operator skins on the sports theme. Thus, you will have among others Deadman - Player, Surfer Warrior - Quarterback, Beck - Test Pilot, and Park - Speed.
New for Ground War, including a map
The Ground War mode will receive a small update that will add an interesting feature: it will now be possible to deploy aboard a vehicle. Thus, you will no longer waste time and will be directly propelled into the action. You will have no reason not to go capture a point, especially since doing so will now grant three airdrops for the team. To encourage players to try these new features, the developers will add a new map. It will be Collateral. Enjoy the joys of the desert environment.
A mythical Ghost skin that sets things on fire
Apart from the implementation of a Full Throttle event on the boxing theme, which will allow you to acquire the Baker - Motocross operator skin, as well as the Outlaw - Ping-Pong Champion and MX9 - Flight Time weapon blueprints, the true star of this Season 7 will be found in the Store. That's where you need to go to get the mythical Ghost operator skin - Eternal Siege. This Call of Duty-style Ghost Rider will be accompanied by his faithful four-legged friend Riley. To give him weapons that match his fiery appearance, the draw will also include two fiery weapon blueprints for the KN-44 assault rifle and the HDR sniper rifle, as well as a blueprint for the Sickle melee weapon.
