Xbox very recently provided an update on the games coming to Xbox Game Pass by March 5, and no one could have expected such a big surprise to be part of it. Yet, Dead Island 2 has just been added alongside Bluey: The Video Game.

Two rooms, two atmospheres
Today, subscribers to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate only expected to discover Bluey: The Video Game, the adaptation of the animated series created by Joe Brumm intended for younger audiences. Surprise, Xbox offers another room with a different atmosphere by simultaneously integrating Deep Silver's Dead Island 2, a bloody game rated PEGI 18, requiring the elimination of many zombies. Announced at E3 2014, the title was then developed by Yager Development, succeeding Techland.
After several delays, the project finally changed hands, landing with Dambuster Studios. It was in April 2023 that Dead Island 2 finally saw the light of day, on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Despite a difficult development, the surprise was there, with the game receiving several good reviews. Now, if you haven't yet indulged, you just need to launch Xbox Game Pass to enjoy it at no additional cost on your Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, or via the Cloud. As a bonus, the Expansion Pass normally priced at €29.99 is on sale, reduced to €17.99.
