Fortnite Festival Season 2 celebrates Lady Gaga
Fortnite Festival is the musical experience of Fortnite developed by Harmonix in collaboration with Epic Games. Music means artists. During the grand premiere of this new experience, players were able to enjoy content dedicated to The Weeknd. For season 2, the developers chose to honor the Queen of Pop, Stefani Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga.
Fortnight, the night is yours
With the deployment of update 28.30, Epic Games officially launches the festivities for season 2 of Fortnite Festival. Until April 22, 2024, it will be an opportunity to celebrate a renowned artist who also shone in the film A Star is Born. For two months, you can progress in the two paths of the Festival Pass, the first offering free rewards, with the highlight being the Carpenter's drum, and the second, the bonus path accessible in exchange for 1800 V-bucks, allowing you to unlock instruments and the enigmatic Gaga outfit. For those who don't know, this famous outfit by Nange Magro, the creator of Dead Lotus Couture, was worn by Lady Gaga during the Chromatica Ball tour. As a little bonus, by investing in this one, you get the Musical Hack aura.
Adding some sound
Since the Fortnite Festival experience is centered on music, it makes sense that the development studio wanted to integrate new musical tracks. There are three, one new, Bloom, and two others that were already Fortnite lounge music, namely Retro Rhythm (8-Bit Beat) and Best Buds. To avoid complaints from those who had already invested in the latter two, a V-bucks refund equal to the purchase amount will be issued.

With this second season, a new type of emote is introduced with a particularity: the Guitar Juggler and Thanks emotes can only be associated with a certain type of instrument. The bonus path also allows you to collect several interesting items, in addition to the famous outfit, including the Chromatica Guitar and Chromatica Keytar. It's also a way to unlock four additional tracks: Ride Wit Me by Nelly ft. City Spud, Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden, Breaking Me by Topic w/ A7S, and the iconic Poker Face by Lady Gaga. Finally, a quick tour in the item shop allows you to collect several items, including the Gaga Chromatica outfit, the Chromatica Bass and microphone, or even the musical track Stupid Love.
