Hello everyone, hello to all here Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Today I will talk to you about League Of Legends but above all about the big announcements to come from the developers. Let's go!

Because yes, there is finally good news regarding the future of League of Legends. After three years of waiting, an internal source revealed the studio's projects suggesting that an official announcement should not be long in coming. If the last few years of LOL haven't necessarily lived up to players' expectations, it must be acknowledged that the beginning of the year 2023 has been very calm. After the early season crisis, RG studios decided to freeze all new content by offering us a summer event where things were about to change.

Let's nevertheless highlight the successful arrival of the Champion Milio. This came at the right time, allowing players to wait with new content. However, even if the past seven months have not allowed players to quench their thirst for novelty, this will soon be the case.

We can still recall the traditional balancing adjustments and some item changes, but there have been even fewer new features than players might have expected. Today, however, things look different. It is not just the euphoria of players who can now access an Arena mode they have been waiting for three years, but also a future that looks promising.

Towards a new era

Recently, the masterminds at Riot Games promised to make a big announcement by the end of July. We shouldn't wait too long..

A statement awaited by players. It will allow us to talk about both the current state of the game and its future projects.

However, some employees, wishing to calm players' concerns, have begun to reveal a little information.

The clues come directly from the mouth of Daniel Emmons, better known as Riot Maxw3ll. Let's remember that he specialized in champion creation until he became the head of the team in charge of alternative game modes for League of Legends. Players insisted on asking him if, now that Arena is out, he would return to focus on creating new characters.

Unfortunately, the developer has excluded this possibility: "In the near future, League of Legends will be very focused on game modes, so I don't think that [his role at the developer] will change anytime soon. I loved working on champions; it's probably the greatest pleasure I've had as a game designer, but it's also nice to let others do the same while helping when I can," he explained in the comments of the Reddit post.

One thing is certain, League Of Legends is about to turn a page but above all to enter a new era. I am looking forward to it.

That's all for today. We'll see you very soon for a new gaming news bulletin. This was Quill wishing you a good day in Metropolis City.
