Surprise, the second trailer for GTA VI is now available
While some publishers sometimes wait for major events to communicate about their projects, Rockstar Games does not follow the trend. Thus, the iconic starry R company recently announced the release date of Grand Theft Auto VI, undoubtedly the most anticipated game in the video game industry. A few days later, without warning, a new trailer appeared.

The anticipation around GTA VI is huge. Believe it or not, the release of GTA V dates back to 2013. Even though the online component, namely GTA Online, and the ports have ensured its success for nearly 12 years, fans are in a frenzy. They want to discover the sequel. Proof being, the first trailer was viewed more than 100 million times in less than 48 hours. Although the release was originally planned for this year, the lack of communication did not bode well. Indeed, the release was eventually postponed, with the development studio preferring to take a few extra months to polish the title as much as possible.
In fact, while waiting for May 26, 2026, players are hoping to see more. It was therefore without warning, without any particular event, that Rockstar Games decided to release the second trailer. The opportunity to give some additional snippets of information about the story that will follow a couple. The latter consists of Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, two characters to whom life does not give any favors. And that's putting it mildly since they will be embroiled in a criminal conspiracy that spans the entire State of Leonida.
Jason did not have an easy childhood, quite the opposite. In an attempt to put his life in order, he joined the army. Nevertheless, it was only a period of his life. Back in civilian life, he turned to the dark side, succumbing to easy money by working for local drug traffickers.
Lucia, on the other hand, is a fighter, in the literal sense... Indeed, as soon as she could walk, her father taught her how to fight. Nevertheless, life's ups and downs pushed her towards prison. Released, she will continue her journey with Jason, wishing to live the happy life her mother has dreamed of since they left Liberty City.
The duo will encounter many other characters, as the new trailer shows. Besides the couple's intimate relationship, the video mainly reveals various situations, between everyday life (shopping, sports, car rides, relaxation moments) and more intense ones (notably heists). Vice City, its beauty, its dangers!
