Cyber Showdown III, new free update for Halo Infinite

Halo Infinite Cyber Showdown III
XboxMar 6, 20242 min read

Available since December 2021 on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, Halo Infinite can count on a strong community to keep it alive, as well as on 343 Industries, which regularly brings new features. Proof of this, the development studio has just deployed a new update that integrates the Cyber Showdown III operation for free.

A Pass for a dark cyberpunk look

To motivate the troops, there is the Operation Pass, a system that requires climbing the ranks to earn rewards. With this new update, the developers have integrated a new 20-level reward Operation Pass. Coatings, weapon charms, emblems, and other customization elements are what players can collect for free. Of course, some premium options are also available, including an additional Challenge slot and an Emberbreak armor coating for those willing to spend money. For 500 credits, you can prevent the Pass from expiring, and for 2000, you have the opportunity to unlock all the rewards instantly. In any case, the elements of this Cyber Showdown III operation are representations of a dark and cyberpunk version of the CHIMERA armor, mixing organic and technological aspects (based on the concept of the viral machine).

Elevation, the power of the Forge

Welcome aboard a space elevator. You are now on the new map added to the game, namely Elevation, a nod to Halo 2. It was created via the Forge mode and offers indoor battles within a cabin that you better not leave.

Additional maps in Husky Raid

A legacy of Halo 4, the Husky Raid mode has six new maps for even crazier battles. Formation, Merchant’s Square, Outlook, Pharaoh, Urban Raid, and War’uto are the lucky ones. All six were created by the community via the Forge mode.
