TFT patch 14.6 will add the Ink Legends set
Everyone knows it, League of Legends is a real success. To capitalize on it while offering players multiple ways to engage with or expand the game's universe, Riot Games is developing various experiences within the LoL license. Recently, your dear Quill talked to you about Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story, a crafting-focused RPG released on PC and Nintendo Switch, or 2XKO, the 2v2 fighting game planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S featuring LoL champions. Today, it's Teamfight Tactics, a strategy game available on PC, iOS, and Android, making headlines with the announcement of its upcoming update.
The Ink Legends for new adventures
Available since June 2019 on PC and since March 2020 on iOS and Android, Teamfight Tactics has already received about ten updates to improve and enrich the experience. On March 20, an eleventh patch will be deployed to add the Ink Legends set. Few details have been shared so far, but this 14.6 update will introduce new champions, as well as unique types and cosmetics. The developers also promise additional optimizations and Pass and Pass+. Those who enjoy this strategy game based on Dota Auto Chess, a Dota 2 mod, will be able to embark on “a mystical journey through an ancient world filled with mythological creatures and legendary heroes.”
As a reminder, TFT, as it's affectionately called, allows eight players to build their team with champions and items from the LoL universe. They must then place their army of characters on the game grid, using strategy, before launching the automatic battle that concludes when only one player remains.
