New Xbox Starfield controller
Hello everyone, hello to all here Quill from the Metropolis Chronicle for your gaming news bulletin. Today I'm going to talk to you (again) about the most anticipated game on Xbox Series and PC: Starfield. The game, whose release was confirmed at the Xbox ShowCase, will indeed arrive on September 6, 2023, after being postponed for several months.
But I'm not going to talk to you about Bethesda's next space action RPG (the studio to which we owe the amazing Skyrim and Fallout) but about an accessory and more specifically the Starfield-themed controller. Clearly, Microsoft did things right. This new controller is simply MA-GNI-FI-CENT and I mean it.
Let's start with its box. Simple and beautiful at the same time. It leaves little doubt about the quality of the item inside.
The journey has already begun
Confirmation is made once the box is opened. The colors, the finesse of the details, everything has been done to make this accessory unique. The grips at the back for a better hold are very well thought out. I admit to being particularly happy to have it in my possession. I think it's the little extra that will allow me an even more intense immersion next September 6. I'm still hesitating whether to use it right now or to wait and reserve it exclusively for the game it was designed for. Also know that the controller is PC compatible. ✨
A rather affordable price but a small disappointment
To acquire this work of art (yes, I'm a huge fan) you will need to spend 64.99 €. The controller is available on all online sales platforms. It's a sum but still affordable. We have already seen much more expensive controllers. This will allow the largest number to acquire it. And that's a very good thing.
I admit that I would have really loved this controller to be an Elite. Sure, the price wouldn't have been the same, but that wouldn't have stopped me from getting it. Don't we say, when you love, you don't count.
Also know that a headset sporting the same colors is already available. I still don't have it at the time of writing these lines but there is no doubt that its arrival should not be long. As for the price, you will need to spend 124.99€ to get it.
