Operation Anima, an event that will be hairy and fierce

Equip yourself with the latest technologies and go fight waves of primordials to defend Runeterra with your squad! For the summer event of League of Legends, the anima squad is back with a host of new features. Available from July 17 to 19, 2024, participate in this event to discover a new game mode and totally cute, or almost, skins.

With the Swarm mode, when there's no more, there's still more.

In this new game mode, you will control members of the anima squad equipped with the latest generation of technological equipment. Your mission: eliminate all waves of primordials, monsters whose sole objective is to destroy everything. Indeed, the new game mode is a PVE mode in which you can play the champions who are part of the anima squad such as Jinx, Yuumi, Sylas, Xayah, Illaoi, Miss Fortune, and Yasuo, as well as the new champion Aurora. To survive the enemy waves more easily, you can call on three allies. Throughout the game, you can choose new skills to improve your arsenal. The longer you survive, the more rewards you will receive.

New event means new skins!

And yes, to please the community, Riot Games is releasing exclusive skins with this event to complete the anima squad skin pack. Thus, the following champions will see their skins increase: Seraphine, Yuumi, Leona, Xayah, Illaoi, Aurora, and Yasuo join Anima Squad while Briar, Rek'Sai, and Bel'Veth play the antagonistic Primordials.
