An action-packed trailer to illustrate Season 3 of Battlefield 6

Season 2 of Battlefield 6 is coming to an end. This means that players will soon be able to discover the content of the next one, logically Season 3. Last month, Electronic Arts unveiled the roadmap for the rest of the year, thus mentioning the content of this one and the next two. Now, the publisher is releasing an explosive trailer to illustrate the content of this Season 3 while setting the date for its deployment.

The train will arrive on time

Take your calendar, whether physical or digital, and note the following information: Season 3 of Battlefield 6 will begin on May 12. So there are only a few days left to wait before discovering the content related to the first phase. The central element of this phase will be the integration of the Train to Golmud map (set in Tajikistan), a reinterpreted version of the famous Golmud Railway from Battlefield 4. It will have the distinction of being, at least at its release, the largest map in BF6. If you know the original version, you won't be surprised to find the famous train crossing the map, passing through various points of interest. As it is in motion, it promises to evolve the confrontations throughout the game. On the ground, on the rails, or in the air, you'll need to keep your eyes everywhere as threats will be numerous.

To help you eliminate enemies, the Battlefield Studios team will introduce three new weapons. Snipers who appreciate precision and long-range shots will be served with the L115, a new sniper rifle. Others can choose between the M16A4 assault rifle or the RPK-74M machine gun. These two weapons will be more than necessary as the development team has revised the map's topography to multiply close combat zones, contrasting with more open areas conducive to vehicle battles. For this, you can count on several new buildings, inviting everyone to study the map well before engaging in confrontations. Some adjustments will also be part of the package, in addition to the integration of the ranked mode in REDSEC.

The second part of the trailer also presents the content of the second phase of Season 3. Later, players will be able to dive into the intense confrontations induced by the topography of Cairo Bazaar. Again, it will be a reimagined version of a famous map, namely Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3. Tanks will navigate through narrow streets and break through walls to forge a new path. It will also be an opportunity to grab a new submachine gun, the PP-19. Finally, this Season 3 will introduce an additional game mode well known to fans of the franchise. Obliteration will make its grand return. This highly appreciated mode requires taking control of a bomb and destroying the enemy team's bases while protecting your own.
