Xbox Game Pass - The early February program, including Avowed
The schedule of arrivals in the Xbox Game Pass has a fairly clear guideline. Additions must be regular and announcements are generally made twice a month, not counting the surprises announced occasionally, like those from the last Developer_Direct. Unsurprisingly, now that the program for the end of January 2025 has been rolled out, here is the one planned for the first half of February.
Madden NFL 25
To start the month off right, fans of American football can dive into the latest installment of the Madden NFL franchise. This impactful opus will arrive on February 6th in EA Play, Electronic Arts' subscription service. Since this is integrated into the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer, subscribers to this formula will have access to it, as well as those subscribed to the PC Game Pass. As a bonus, the game will also be playable via the Cloud. It will be an opportunity to enjoy up-to-date rosters and the latest gameplay innovations, bringing the franchise ever closer to striking realism.
Kingdom Two Crowns
Available since the end of 2018 on Xbox, the strategy game from Raw Fury, Stumpy Squid, Fury Studios, and Coatsink returns to the Xbox Game Pass. If you missed it during its previous stint, you will have no reason this time to pass it up. Playable solo or in two-player cooperation, it requires embodying a monarch (or two) with the aim of building a kingdom and making it last over time. The mission will not be so simple since the Greed, monstrous creatures, will do everything to sack it. Note, the game will be accessible on console and via the Cloud from February 13th. It will also be added to the Standard offer, in addition to the Ultimate.
Avowed
It's the big release of the month at Xbox. The essential Avowed from Obsidian Entertainment will arrive on the day of its release, February 18, in the Game Pass Ultimate and the PC Game Pass. Action-RPG fans will be able to explore the Living Lands to discover an adventure set in the fictional universe of Eora, the same environment used for the Pillars of Eternity saga. As a mysterious epidemic hits the island, you take on the role of an emissary from Aedyr to try to uncover what lies behind it. However, be careful, all your choices will have consequences, so think carefully about your actions.
They are coming to the Standard Game Pass
Depending on the offer you subscribe to, you can access all the latest additions to the Xbox Game Pass via the Ultimate subscription, or you have to wait a little longer to discover certain titles. The trade-off is that the Standard formula is more economical. Those who have opted for the latter will be delighted to learn that three titles will join the catalog on February 5, all three already available in the Ultimate formula.
The first, Another Crab’s Treasure, takes the form of a Souls-like where you play as a hermit crab. The latter will have to transform the waste it finds at the bottom of the ocean into equipment to face the dangers that will stand in its way. The second, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, is a 2.5D JRPG that allows you to discover a touching story with colorful characters. Finally, the third is the essential Starfield, the latest project from Bethesda Game Studios that offers an unforgettable adventure, with your head in the stars.
