Xbox Game Pass - The early July program with Neon White

Neon white
XboxJul 5, 20244 min read

The beginning of July is quite special as it is marked by the scent of school holidays. It is also a month during which vacations can multiply. Add often nice weather, quite long days, and a desire to move around, and you don't necessarily get the most favorable month for playing. Nevertheless, as usual, Microsoft has planned to enrich its Xbox Game Pass catalog. This time, after the end of June wave, there are eight games to discover in the first half of July as part of the subscription.

Journey to the Savage Planet

If you haven't yet visited planet ARY-26 to determine if it can be habitable for humans, then it's time to embark on Journey to the Savage Planet. The first-person exploration game by Typhoon and 505 Games returns to Xbox Game Pass. You can enjoy it right now on PC and console or via the Cloud. Play as the employee of Kindred Aerospace and go analyze the different creatures inhabiting the planet.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2

You take the concept of Super Smash Bros, add several characters from Nickelodeon licenses, add a single-player mode offering a rogue-like experience, mix it all up well, and you get Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. Want some good news? It's playable right now via Xbox Game Pass on PC, console, and even Cloud.

Cricket 24

If football, American football, handball, basketball, tennis, and rugby are among the most popular sports, we must not forget Cricket, a sport notably famous in the United Kingdom. As there is always an audience, even if it is niche, development studios do not hesitate to adapt the discipline into a video game. In this case, it was Big Ant Studios and Nacon who released Cricket 24 last year. Whether you like this sport or want to discover it, know that this installment will arrive on July 9 in the Xbox Game Pass. You can play it on PC, console, and Cloud.

The Case of the Golden Idol

After exploration, fighting, and sports, the Xbox Game Pass invites you to return to the 18th century to play as a detective tasked with solving twelve crimes committed over forty years. A bit like a Cluedo-style point and click, you will need to identify the suspects, the weapon used for each crime, and, of course, the motive. You can start the investigation from July 9 on PC, console, and Cloud.

Neon White

Two years ago, creative director Ben Esposito released a gem called Neon White. It is a first-person action game where you play as the assassin Neon White. He will go to heaven to eliminate demons that have infiltrated this peaceful place. The unique feature is that the game system is based on collecting cards that allow you to attack enemies or execute unique moves. In short, the great news is that the title will be available from July 11 in the Xbox Game Pass. PC, console, or via the Cloud, you will have all the resources available to enjoy it.

Tchia

Want a vacation? Want to travel? Want a change of scenery? What if we told you that you could have all that without even leaving your home? The open-world adventure Tchia will welcome all Xbox Game Pass subscribers starting July 11. You can play as Tchia and use her powers to take control of the various animals inhabiting the archipelago, in addition to the objects present. Play with physics, fight the cloth soldiers of the tyrant Meavora, and free Tchia's father from his clutches. This will be available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and via the Cloud.

Magical Delicacy

On its official release day, July 16, Magical Delicacy will join the Xbox Game Pass catalog, both on PC and on console and Cloud. As its name suggests, the game will highlight magic. More specifically, it will require players to embody Flora, a young witch who will prepare delicious dishes for the inhabitants of Grat. She will have to use dozens of ingredients to satisfy the taste buds of the customers while dealing with the witch Cassia and the mage Tauno.

Flock

Annapurna Interactive is particularly in the spotlight in this early July batch since, after Neon White, it is Flock that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass, and this, from July 16, the day of its official release. The title by Richard Hogg and Hollow Ponds will invite players to share the joy of traveling on the back of flying creatures. The discovery of the beautiful landscapes created for the occasion will be done with others since the title is a cooperative game.
