Shortly after finishing deploying the titles planned in the previous batch of additions to the Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft unveils the lineup for the first half of June. There are some nice surprises with the arrival of Octopath Traveler, the addition of a World War I FPS, a survival-horror heavily inspired by Dead Space, a role-playing game inspired by Call of Cthulhu, and a survival game. We take stock while waiting for possible surprises to come with the Xbox Games Showcase on June 9th…

Octopath Traveler

While announcing that Octopath Traveler is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Square Enix offers PC, Xbox, and Cloud players to enjoy (again) the game thanks to the Xbox Game Pass. Thus, all subscribers to the service can discover this adventure featuring eight heroes, at least if it hadn't already been the case in March 2021.

Octopath Traveler II

The return of the first Octopath Traveler in the Xbox Game Pass is not insignificant. Indeed, it also aims to invite players to take an interest in the big novelty, namely the sequel Octopath Traveler II. While the latter has been available since February 2023 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and 5, it had not yet appeared on Xbox. This oversight is now corrected since the title has just been released on Microsoft's consoles, and it is directly added to the Xbox Game Pass. Needless to say, you have no reason not to discover this franchise.

Depersonalization

If you like adventures with multiple branches and are a fan of the H.P. Lovecraft universe, then Depersonalization is for you. This tabletop role-playing game inspired by the Call of Cthulhu will arrive on June 12th in the PC Game Pass. It promises several story modes with different endings. Of course, the paths will differ from one game to another, allowing for a nice margin for replayability.

Isonzo

This is the big Xbox release this May. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will arrive on our PCs and Xbox Series X|S on the 21st and will be added to the Xbox Game Pass on the same day. This will also allow playing via the Cloud. This direct sequel will still focus on a brutal journey that will require surviving the darkness, both those surrounding our character and those within. Be careful, according to early media, you can expect quite a visual punch!

The Callisto Protocol

The Callisto Protocol is a survival-horror game heavily inspired by the Dead Space franchise. And for good reason, it was created by Striking Distance Studios, a development studio founded by Glen Schofield... Who is also the co-creator of Dead Space. The circle is complete. More than a year and a half after the game's release, those who haven't dared to try it yet and have a subscription to the Xbox Game Pass will be able to get started. See you on June 13 on PC, console, and Cloud to make your way through the Black Iron high-security prison.

Still Wakes the Deep

On the same day, May 23, another title will be released and will directly join the Xbox Game Pass (PC, console, and Cloud). It is Hauntii, a game with notable artistic direction. It requires embodying a ghost described as brave but naive, with the ability to haunt both the population and the environment. Note: the soundtrack is signed by Michael Kirby Ward.
