Age of Mythology: Retold

For the start of the school year, we begin with a revision. Indeed, Age of Mythology: Retold, as its name suggests, is a revised version of the original opus by Ensemble Studios released 22 years ago. Real-time strategy enthusiasts can thus rediscover this opus thanks to World’s Edge and Forgotten Empires who offer a modernized version. The entire visual part has been reworked, as well as the animations, using the engine of Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition. The big plus is that the game, which officially releases this September 4, 2024, on PC and Xbox Series, is integrated Day One into the Xbox Game Pass. You can therefore enjoy it on the two aforementioned platforms and via the Cloud. Get ready to witness a demonstration of the power of the gods.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game

As of the next day, starting September 5, those who appreciate crossing and exploration simulations will be thrilled. Indeed, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will be added to the subscription and accessible on PC, console, and Cloud. Like other games in the franchise, it will require careful consideration of the obstacles to overcome. Here, it is not about going as fast as possible to cross a finish line but rather enjoying a sharp physics engine to appreciate the different approaches to missions. However, be careful, the simulation aspect is very advanced, so the title is not for everyone.

Riders Republic

Attention to thrill-seekers and extreme sports fans, Riders Republic will be added to Xbox Game Pass starting September 11, available on both PC and console, with the option to play via the Cloud. Ski, snowboard, wingsuit, or bike, you can choose your mode of transportation to explore an open world freely. This world condenses iconic landscapes of the United States, bringing together various national parks, including Bryce Canyon, Yosemite Valley, Mammoth Mountain, and Sequoia Park.

Train Sim World 5

No delays in sight, travelers heading to the Game Pass can board the train at the platform starting September 17. More precisely, Train Sim World 5 will be added to Xbox's subscription program from the day of its release. Interested individuals can thus discover the new installment of the Dovetails Games series. This one promises several new features, starting with unprecedented challenges to tackle and the addition of three new lines, namely the West Coast Main Line, the Kinzigtalbahn, and the San Bernardino Line. Of course, you can choose your path as the game will be available on PC, console, and Cloud.
