Xbox Game Pass - The early September program, including Silksong

Microsoft's communication regarding the Xbox Game Pass is as precise as a Swiss watch. Every month, we are treated to two announcements detailing the new releases for the upcoming fifteen days. The Redmond firm thus provides two unmissable appointments, the first at the beginning of the month and the second around the middle of the month. After the mid-August update, which notably highlighted the arrival of Gears of War Reloaded, it's time to discover the early September update and the list of games coming in the first half of the month.

Nine Sols

Nine Sols is a true gem by Red Candle Games that blends 2D action with platforming. It invites players to embark on an adventure set in an Asia-inspired universe with a backdrop of revenge. The title shines in many aspects, starting with its gameplay, whose parry system is reminiscent of the excellent Sekiro. A natural charm also emanates from Nine Sols thanks to its most adorable artistic direction. The little extra is that everything is entirely hand-drawn. Available for a while in the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer, the game is now launching in the Standard offer.

I Am Your Beast

After El Paso and Elsewhere, the Strange Scaffold studio is offering a new production called I Am Your Beast. It is a first-person shooter with a comic book style that is most impressive. This style vaguely recalls the video game adaptation of XIII. Vengeance and stealth are on the agenda for this intense FPS that has just arrived in Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard. As it is playable on both PC and console or via the Cloud, you have no reason not to at least give it a try. 

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Enchanting music, an unmistakable artistic direction, a haunted kingdom... Look no further, the sequel to the excellent Hollow Knight will arrive on September 4, with integration from the day of release into the PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate. Of course, it will be possible to discover this action-packed adventure on PC but also on Xbox and via the Cloud. Arm yourself with your best reflexes to embody Hornet, the princess-protector of Hallownest. 

Cataclismo

Always on the same date, September 4th, PC gamers will have one more title to sink their teeth into. It's Digital Sun's Cataclismo, which debuted just over two years ago. Far from making headlines like other higher-budget titles, this strategy game has managed to win over both the press and players. Quite original in its approach and dynamic, it requires pushing back the darkness by building fortresses. Of course, this involves managing resources, exploring environments, and defending your base. A great discovery in store for PC Game Pass subscribers (which is included in the Ultimate plan)!

PAW Patrol World

After a very busy first week of arrivals, Microsoft will offer a radical change of atmosphere after a few days of respite. No frantic action, no strategy, no need for sharp reflexes, on September 10th, it will be relaxation and lightness. Indeed, the game PAW Patrol World will arrive in the three Game Pass offers (Ultimate, PC, and Standard) to allow the youngest and their parents to discover the latest PAW Patrol game to date. And it's not just any game as it is the very first title in the franchise to offer open environments. You can play as your favorite pups, both in solo and in split-screen co-op. This latter setup is ideal for a shared moment with your child, while also giving you the opportunity to help them progress as needed. 

RoadCraft

To end this wave of the first half of September, Microsoft will slightly overflow and offer from the 16th a certain RoadCraft. Playable on Xbox Series X|S or via the Cloud, it will be added to the Game Pass Standard and the Ultimate plan. If you enjoy obstacle-crossing games and other driving simulations that take you into difficult situations, then you'll be thrilled. The title published by Focus Entertainment offers 8 vast maps to explore. They all have one thing in common: they have suffered natural disasters that require you to take control of around forty construction vehicles to clear debris, repair roads, bridges, and other essential infrastructures. Get ready to take on realistic challenges, whether you're playing solo or in co-op (up to 4).
