Game Pass Diablo IV
XboxMar 20, 20244 min read

Quill reporting for this new Xbox Game Pass update. It is now customary, except when there are some surprise announcements (like that of NBA 2K24), Xbox ensures two monthly appointments to talk about the games that will be added to the subscription service in the coming days. The previous batch just ended with the entry of Lightyear Frontier and MLB The Show 24, it is time to take stock of the upcoming titles and, believe it or not, there is some heavy stuff.

The Quarry

The Halloween period is behind us, but it is never too late to experience the big thrill. Thanks to 2K Games and Supermassive Games, from March 20, whether on console or via the Cloud, you can follow the story of nine teenagers trying to survive a nightmarish night. It's up to you to make the right choices, even if it means starting over and over again to discover the 182 different endings. Who will survive? Who will perish? It's up to you to embark on the adventure to find out!

Evil West

A brand new license by Flying Wild Hog, Evil West is a brutal representation of a fantastic western. Play as Jesse Rentier and go on a rampage against various bloodthirsty monstrosities. Besides your arsenal, you can use a lightning-powered gauntlet to defeat enemies and save the Far West from this threat. Note that the game can be played solo or in co-op and will be accessible from March 21 in the Xbox Game Pass, both on PC and console, with even the possibility of enjoying it via the Cloud.

Terra Invicta

Already available in early access on Steam since September 2022, the simulation and strategy game by Pavonis Interactive and Hooded Horse will land on March 26 in the PC Game Pass (so not on console). The title will still be in early access, but this will allow more people to take the lead of one of the seven ideological factions created after an alien invasion to lead the nations of Earth and beyond.

Diablo IV

Last February, during the official podcast aimed at clarifying the company's vision, Sarah Bond dropped a bombshell: Diablo IV will arrive on Game Pass on March 28 (console and PC). The promise will be kept. This will mark the arrival of Activision / Blizzard games in the subscription service, a strong message since the acquisition. You will be able to dive into this gem that marks a striking return for the franchise.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged

The same day as Diablo IV, it will be possible to enjoy the virtual versions of the small metal cars you surely know. Milestone served up again in October 2023 by offering a new Hot Wheels game that corrected the few flaws of the previous installment. This sequel invites you to enjoy dynamic races, more than 130 vehicles, including motorcycles, quads, and off-road vehicles, five successful environments, and even a scripted solo mode in addition to a two-player local multiplayer and online multiplayer. In terms of gameplay, this installment has gained dynamism thanks to three simple additions: a jump, a double jump, and a dash. It will be accessible in Game Pass on PC, console, and Cloud.

Open Roads

Also on March 28, players (PC, console, Cloud) who subscribe to the service will be able to discover a brand new game that will join Game Pass on its official release day. It is Open Roads, a brand new adventure that will highlight a complex relationship between a young girl and her mother. Expect to uncover various secrets on this journey into the past.

Ark: Survival Ascended

It's not a joke, on April 1st, Ark: Survival Ascended will land on Xbox Game Pass. The dinosaurs will arrive more beautiful than ever in this reimagined version under Unreal Engine 5 to offer visuals worthy of the new generation of consoles. Of course, the title will be playable on Xbox Series X|S but also on PC and via the Cloud. Building, crafting, fighting, that's the daily life that awaits you in this survival experience.

F1 23

In February, F1 23 joined EA Play, Electronic Arts' subscription service that is integrated with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate offer and the PC Game Pass. Since then, it has been possible to test your driving skills on console and PC. From April 2, the community can expand as this F1 simulation will also be playable via the Cloud.

Superhot: Mind Control Delete

It had left the Game Pass at the end of May 2022... It will soon be back. Superhot: Mind Control Delete will return on April 2 to allow everyone who missed it last time to try it out. The title is very unique and recognizable among a thousand because its gameplay is based on a simple but quite unique principle: time only moves when the character moves. With Mind Control Delete, this third installment in the series pushes the experience further to offer a denser story, more substantial gameplay, more present action, and ever more numerous weapons.
