Summer is in full swing and after providing a great batch of games to kick off the month, Xbox is not letting up. This time, 8 games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass. Simulation, action, horror, survival, Souls-like or RPG, there will be something for everyone.
Xbox®
RoboCop: Rogue City
RoboCop is back. Half-man, half-robot but 100% police officer, the Detroit police officer formerly known as Alex Murphy is brought in to fight the Burnout gang. Players can thus discover an original adventure based on the feature films of the franchise. The nod for fans is the presence of Peter Weller reprising the main role. Available since November 2023, Teyon's title has managed to win over the community on many fronts, including its visuals ensured by the Unreal Engine 5. If you haven't yet tried the game, you can catch up from July 17, provided you are subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, or Standard Game Pass.
My Friendly Neighborhood
My Friendly Neighborhood is a children's television show. However, overnight, things change and fear mixes with the celebration. To understand what is happening, Gordon, a repairman, is sent on-site. He then embarks on a survival game in which he must take down said puppets with the arsenal at his disposal. A few puzzles dot the progression, just to get the gray matter working. It will also be added on July 17 to the subscription program, in the PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate packages.
Back to the Dawn
Anthropomorphic characters in a prison universe, look no further, it's Back to the Dawn. You will play as one of these prisoners who must survive while devising a plan to escape from prison. Add a touch of RPG, investigation phases and you get a title with a unique design that has already won over players since its early access release on Steam. From July 18, the game will launch in its 1.0 version and will also make its debut on Xbox, with a Day One integration into the Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Abiotic Factor
Starting July 22, people subscribed to Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass will be able to discover Abiotic Factor. This unique adventure features brilliant scientists trapped between a paranormal breach, a military operation, and creatures flowing in from various universes. Survival is a key element of the game, which can be played solo or with friends, up to six.
Wheel World
The Xbox Game Pass is a subscription that allows you to catch up on major games you haven't been able to play before but also, and above all, to discover new titles. This latter case will present itself on July 23 with the integration, from the day of its release, of Wheel World into Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Published by Annapurna Interactive, Wheel World requires you to play as Kat and choose your bike, customizable to your heart's content, before participating in races. To enjoy the scenery, the development studio opted for a polished aesthetic and an open world. Enjoy the freedom and the caress of the wind on your digital face.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Demon Souls and the Dark Souls trilogy by FromSoftware paved the way for a new term, that of Souls-like. Behind this term are action games with high difficulty. Some will say they are very difficult, others that they are simply demanding. In any case, the genre has found its audience, to the point that projects are multiplying. The proof, a new title is arriving, namely Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Even better, it will land on the day of its release, July 24, in Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Subscribers to these offers will be able to play as Wuchang, a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia and a deadly curse. Needless to say, she will have to fight for her survival in a world ravaged by chaos.
Grounded 2
The first Grounded managed to surprise the world upon its release in 2020 (in early access). It then evolved, successfully building a strong community, which persisted after the release of version 1.0 in 2022. The recipe is simple but devilishly effective: you take the artists from Obsidian Entertainment, add ideas inspired by Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, put in an open world, survival, shake well, and it's ready. Starting July 29, the development studio will serve up another helping with Grounded 2. This sequel promises an even more ambitious adventure in a much larger world. It will be available via Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass, initially in early access.
Farming Simulator 25
Forget the sea, fine sand, coconut trees, and other paradisiacal elements. All of that is overrated. For your summer vacation, opt for a stay at the farm. At least that's what Giants Software will offer you starting August 1st with Farming Simulator 25. Enjoy the pleasures of driving agricultural machinery, growing your crops before harvesting them, etc. Moreover, the game is playable solo or in cooperation. The latest iteration of the franchise will be integrated into Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Standard Game Pass. So you have no excuse not to play it.
