The Call of Duty Madness

If you read a bit of the Metropolis Chronicle columns, then you already know that Activision's famous franchise will land en masse on Microsoft's subscription service starting October 25. If you don't know, it's because you missed our post on the subject. If that's the case, let's just remind you that Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be playable via the Cloud thanks to the Game Pass Ultimate subscription. As the icing on the cake, as planned for a while, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will also join the service, as well as the PC Game Pass. You can therefore play it on PC, console, or via the Cloud. In short, you will have no reason to miss out.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole

Starting October 16, fans of the animated series by Trey Parker and Matt Stone can dive into the sequel to South Park: The Stick of Truth. This RPG with undeniable qualities takes all the codes of the series and adapts them into a formula that suits it perfectly. In addition to the new adventure to discover alongside Cartman, Stan, Kyle, Kenny, and the others, the game offers its share of twists and turns, all while brimming with humor. Available via the Game Pass Standard, PC Game Pass, and of course, the Game Pass Ultimate.

Donut County

If you haven't had the chance to discover this puzzle game during its previous stint in the subscription service, then you can catch up starting October 17. Indeed, this title by Ben Esposito and published by Annapurna Interactive will make its grand return, both on PC, console, and via the Cloud thanks to an addition to the three subscription plans (Game Pass Standard, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate). Let's note that it will challenge your brain by playing on physics.

MechWarrior 5: Clans

Nice surprise for all mech fans, MechWarrior 5: Clans will join the PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate on October 17, the day of its official release. Piranha Games developed the title using Unreal Engine 5 to offer next-generation graphics. The game is playable solo through a scripted campaign, allowing you to experience the Clan Invasion of the Inner Sphere during Operation Revival, but it is also possible to enjoy it in co-op with up to five players.

Ashen

Produced by A44 and published by Annapurna Interactive, Ashen is an open-world action-RPG praised by critics. After a stint on Game Pass, it will be back. Subscribers to the Standard Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Ultimate can play it starting October 29. You can embody a wanderer in search of a home.

Dead Island 2

If you're looking for a quality stress-reliever without any hassle, then Dead Island 2 is the perfect choice. The zombie game had a complicated development but managed to win everyone over upon its release. Fun and immensely enjoyable, it allows you to take on the undead with undeniable pleasure. Already included in the Game Pass on console and via the Cloud, the title is now set to arrive on the PC Game Pass. See you on October 31 for that.

Two StarCrafts for the price of one

PC players will be happy to learn that StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection will be added to the PC Game Pass starting November 5. In the first case, you can rediscover a video game monument in its remastered version accompanied by the Brood War expansion. In the second case, you can simply discover the equally legendary sequel, accompanied by Wings of Liberty, Heart of the Swarm, Legacy of the Void, and Nova Covert Ops.
