At the very beginning of the month, Xbox unveiled the games that will be added to the Xbox Game Pass between September 4 and 17, 2024. With Train Sim World 5 having arrived at the station, it's now time for the Redmond firm to present the next wave. Strategy, a freezing post-apocalyptic world, and the opportunity to revolutionize history, let's take stock! A small clarification nonetheless, this end-of-month program is intended for those subscribed to the PC Game Pass or having the Game Pass Ultimate (which includes the PC Game Pass).

Wargroove 2
The first Wargroove was released in February 2019. Enjoying true critical success, this turn-based strategy game received a sequel in 2023, appealing to both fans of the franchise and newcomers. So that no one misses out on this title, also playable in co-op or competitive multiplayer up to four players, both locally and online, Xbox will offer it through the PC Game Pass or the Game Pass Ultimate (also on Console and Cloud) starting September 19. Note that new military leaders are part of the game and it is possible to create your own maps, cinematics, and campaigns.
Frostpunk 2
This Xbox Game Pass batch offers the chance to discover gems that oscillate between management and strategy. After Wargroove 2, PC players will be led to play Frostpunk 2, starting from its release on September 20. The first installment, released in 2018, received excellent critical acclaim. It is a management and survival game set in a freezing post-apocalyptic universe. Note that the events of this sequel take place 30 years after those of the first installment. Of course, the eternal winter will be merciless and various factions will watch your every move.
Ara: History Untold
Finally, the series will conclude on September 24th with the release of Ara: History Untold, a strategy game that will be integrated Day One into the PC Game Pass and thus into the Game Pass Ultimate. However, note that the title is reserved for PC users. Armed with their mouse and keyboard, history fans will be able to rewrite it thanks to Oxide Games. More specifically, you will lead a nation that you will need to develop. Resource management, exploration of new lands, expansion of art and culture, you will have many responsibilities, including negotiating with rival leaders.
